Step1 Warm up：

1 sing a song。

2 Free talk：

T：What day is it today？ T： What‘s the weather like today？

T： What subject do you like best？

Why？

The students can answer the questions freely. 3 Play a game: Listen and do quickly. T: Please listen to my orders, and do quickly. For example: Stand up. Show me your right hand. Step2 Presentation and practice

1 Show the picture: What’s this? Ss: It’s a road. T: What’s in the road? Ss: There are so many buses and cars. T: Yes, it’s a busy road. Learn the word: busy road. 2 T: Can we cross the road now? Ss: No, it’s busy. Show the picture: Look at here, we can find a zebra crossing and traffic lights. The red man means stop, the green man means go. 3 Practice in pairs: T: How can we cross the road safely? Ss: We can find the zebra crossing, and we can wait for the traffic lights. When it is red man, we mustn’t cross the road. When it is green man, We can cross the road.

4 Talk in groups。

T：Sometime we can’t find a zebra crossing nearby, how can we cross the road safely? Please talk in groups. Wait on the pavement and look out of the cars. Look left, then look right, and then look left again. Cross the road with other people.
