教材分析: 本单元是第一模块第三单元的内容。本单元主要是学习一天中太阳及影子变化的短文，学习一般现在时的用法。

设计理念：

本节课的设计我遵循了“先学后教，当堂训练”的教学模式。通过自学指导让学生来自学。

教学目标：

1.学习单词：evening, night, moon 2.句型: The sun... It’s... 3.通过Do and say活动和Know the new story活动，帮助学生理解一天太阳及影子的变化。

教学重、难点：

能听、说、读、写单词：evening, night, moon 用句型: The sun... It’s... 来进行描述。

课时安排：本单元分三课时，本课是第一课时。

教学准备：课件 卡片

教学过程：

Step1:Warm up 1、Greeting Say “Hello” to each other. Step2: presentation 1.出示一张有关影子的图片，图片中有常见的人物与动物。

T:Who are the friends of the things? S: The shadows. ... 2.Watch the video (1)T: What’s the article about? Try to answer the question. (2)T: Read the text by yourselves, and underline the key words that represent the period. All the students underline the key words. Show the key words on the blackboard. (3) Read the text again,answer the question: How do the shadows change from morning to evening? Underline the sentences. The shadow is long. The shadow is short. The shadow is long again. (4) Read the text,and complete the task.

Why do the shadows change from morning to evening. Write the letters on the lines. Show the new words: rise, go down, night 3.播放Listen and say 的录音，让学生跟读。

Try to describe the pictures. Step3: Practice 1.Say and do This is a tree. The torch is the sun. Who wants to come to the front and show the sun according to what we say? 2.Know a new story Here are some paper bags,each group will get one. Please put together the different parts into a complete story. Firt, please read the contents of each part. Then, put the different parts together. Finally, try to read the new story. Step4:Homework After class, say the new story to your friends.
