Teaching the words:small and big. T:look carefully ! I’m a magician. I’m a magic teacher.（说话的同时，师尽快带上礼帽和手套）Then take out the small balloon, Say “Hey! I have a balloon. It’s small. The balloon is small, small, small.”.Then change the small balloon into a big balloon. And say:“Haha, look, The balloon is big now. It’s big, big, big, big.”

B)

Teaching “long and short”.

T: Boys and girls, look carefully!（说话时，师迅速拿出准备好的橡皮筋）say：Haha，look，It’s short ,short, short. I can make it long.（做拉长的动作）long, long, long.（反复拉、放，带生学习long and short.） C) 拿几件实物来操练small ,big, short and long. D) Show the new words by CAI. E) Teach the sentence: “It has...”by CAI.

Step 3 Practice 1. Show some pictures of animals by CAI. Ask several students to describe the animals by using “It has...”. The right student can get a star for his or her group. 2. Play a game: Make friends. Give a stickerto the students who find their friends. Step 4 consolidation 1. Show the new word cards. Let’s students read after the teacher, 2. Play a game “Bingo!” Write the words into the form at you please. Listen to the teacher, and circle the words you hear. If you have three in a row, say:“Bingo!”.
