I．Teaching aims 1．Aims of the knowledge:

(1) The first one, review the words about this topic we learnt last lesson

in order to help students can use them proficiently.

(2) The second one: students can listen, read, say and write the following daily expressions: ... likes ...; ...on ....

2．Aims of the abilities:

(1) Students can use the sentence patterns to describe the activities in our daily life.

(2) To develop the abilities of listening, speaking, and the abilities of working in groups and communication.. 3．Aims of the emotion:

(1) Students can increase their interests and set up their self-confidence in language study.

(2) Students can have the consciousness of good cooperation and proper competition.

(3) Inspire students’ interests in learning and learning English.

(4) Develop students’ feelings of cherishing the time and the lives.

II. Teaching focus

1. To help students communicate with each other using the new sentence patterns.

2. Enable students to study in groups and co-operate skillfully.

3. To develop students’ interest in English. I think, it’s the most important.

Step 1 warm-up and review

1. Greeting.

2. Warming-up

Say a chant about the week.. T：

Let’s have a chant about the week.

My name’s Betty and I’m very busy.

Busy, busy, busy, but I’m very happy.

I’m busy on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

I’m also busy on Thursday and Friday.

I’m very busy, but I,m very happy.

And I’m not busy on Saturday and Sunday. [设计思路]

在本课开始时，通过儿歌让学生在轻松的氛围中回忆起关于星期的单词,检测了学生的知识，训练了学生的听力。同时为新课的导入做铺垫。

3. Review the words about this topic. T: Just now boys and girls did a good job. So now Let’s begin our class. This class we will play a interesting game:（进智慧大门）. ( Ppt 3, 4

Show students the rules of the game. ) [设计思路] 游戏的设置，来贯穿整节课，调动了学生学英语的兴趣，鼓舞了学生学习的自信心，把学生的注意力引入到紧张有序的学习中来。

Step 2 Presentation

1.T: Now let’s pass the first gate. Last class we know that there are seven days in a week. They are Monday, Tuesday , Wednesday, Thursday , Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Last class we have learnt them, now let,s review them together. ( Ppt 5

Let the students finish the words. Give the group which is

correct and the fastest one star. ) T: Meybe you miss the chance just now. Now please finish this task quickly.

Let the students write the words in order on their exercise books. Then check their answer by saying them loudly. And encourage them timely.) [设计思路] 单词的教与学是基础，但单一的模仿无疑是很枯燥的。“知之者不如好之者，好之者不如乐之者。”小学生活泼好动，对游戏、活动有着天性的喜爱。

Let the students say out the phrases according to the pictures. And encourage the group which is the best. ) Then let the students write them on their exercise books. Let’s open the second door.

Now let’s finish the last and the difficult step: the sentences step. ( Ppt 11

Play the radio, let the students listen to it and write numbers in order. And encourage the group which is the best. ) 4. Let the students read “Listen and say”, then answer some questions of the pictures.

is emphasized.) [设计思路] 变换几种活动形式，由易到难，既能极大的激发学生的学习兴趣，激发团队精神，又能促进和巩固句型的记忆。

Step 3 Practice and extension 1. Read “Listen and say”

in groups. Then read them together in groups. And encourage the group which is the best. ( Ppt 16 )

2. Listen to the radio again. Then finish the two exercises. ( Ppt 17,18 ) [设计思路] 通过分阶段让学生逐步掌握了语言，完成语言习得和语言教学的统一，给学生创造练习和使用英语的机会。小组竞赛的形式操练句型培养学生的学习积极主动性，竞争意识及合作精神。同时增强学生的集体荣誉感。

Step 4 Summary and exercise

1. T: Now let’s make a summary about this class based on the blackboard writing. Then we can use the sentences we learnt this class to make a survey about the activities of the students in one week and give a report. Please finish it in groups. ( Ppt19,20

2. T: Now let’s count how many stars you have got. Oh, Group ... is the greatest one. Let's give them a round of applause. And we should ask them to open the wisdom gate for us.
