1)Easter egg (http://www.holidays.net/easter/eggs.htm)
T: Look, children, What` s this? Ss: An egg. T: Is it nice? Ss: Yes T: Do you like it? Ss: Yeah. T: We call it “Easter egg”. It` s the symbol of fertility(丰产) and new life.(The customs and traditions of using eggs have been associated with Easter for centuries.
Originally Easter eggs were painted with bright colors to represent the sunlight of spring and were used in Easter-egg rolling contests or given as gifts. After they were colored
and etched with various designs the eggs were exchanged by lovers and romantic admirers, much the same as valentines. In medieval time eggs were traditionally given at Easter to the servants. In Germany, eggs were given to children along with other Easter gifts.) 2)pan/paint T: So we` ve learned ...(show the egg) Ss: Easter egg. T: Right, but do you know how to make an Easter egg? Ss: Yes./Yeah. T: Right. First, we need...(show the real objects or the pictures of pan/paint/paintbrush to let them choose and learn)
Step 3 Work in pairs.(自主尝试、达标实训、适度拓展)
Then ask and answer the questions. 1 创设情景,引入新句学习。
1)T pretends to draw a line on the blackboard , but there` s no ruler. T:I need a ruler. Who has a ruler? Ss eager to borrow theirs`. T: What do I need?(Guide them to answer “You need a ruler.”) 2) T act again& Ss answer. 3) T create other scene,eg,writing/drawing/ ect.Ss practice the sentences. 4)Ss are divided in groups to practice it in a new scene. 2 T利用实物或图画,练习主语为I/we/they引导的句子。

Step4 Listen, make and say(达标实训、适度拓展) You need eggs, pan, paint and paintbrush. 1)
Study the methods together. T: First,boil eggs for five minutes;then put the eggs in cold water for 10 minutes;Finally, paint the eggs with patterns or faces. 2)
生听录音,拿出煮好的蛋学着绘Easter eggs.

Step1Review the new words.(课前预习、自主尝试)
Step 1 Listen and read (互动探究、达标实训、适度拓展)
1 Listen and line the new words. (celebrate/new life/bank/shop/people) 2 Solve the new words together, Ss take the main role. 3 Study the two questions: What are symbols of Easter? What are Easter eggs usually made of? Listen again and try to line the answers with their pencils. 4 T & Ss study the passage together. 1) Is Easter a new or an old festival? 2) What do children do at Easter in Britain? 4) What do people give to their friends? 5 Listen and follow to read for three times.
Step 2 Easter games (take their eggs to the classroom)(达标实训、适度拓展)
1 4人1小组,结合图片猜测游戏的玩法
2 T help to understand . 3 Guide to play outside, in the sand or so. 4 Play it in several groups.
Step 3 Learn to use “?”.(达标实训)

2学习dragon/boat/pyramid,启发学生组成dragon-boat 3 T raise questions1) When is the Dragon Boat Festival? 2) Why do people eat Zongzi and race dragon boats? Ss read the short passage to find the answers. 4 再读短文,通过问题进一步了解短文。
1)When is the Duanwu Festival? 2) What is Zongzi like? 3) What colour is the the Dragon-boat? Color the dragon-boat in your textbook.
Step 3 Make and say.(达标实训、适度拓展)
1 Watch the video about Zongzi and learn how to make Zongzi。
2 Read the sentence in text. 3 Make Zongzi .
Step 4 Use the words in the box to finish the sentences.(达标实训)
1 Show the sentence and read the words. 2 Fill the blank to finish the sentences。
3 Read them together.
Step 5(课后跟进)
1 Review what we` v e learned 2 Homework 1)向家人介绍端午节文化。
2)收集整理已学过的Seasons and Culture的资料并进行简单摘抄。
