Preparation 1. Greet the students. 2. Sing “ABC Song”. 3.Revise the pronunciation and writing of the letters Aa to Hh.

1) Let students read the letters Aa to Hh twice. 2) Ask one student to come to the blackboard and write them on it.

3) Let the other students follow the teacher to read aloud and write the letters with their own fingers.

4) Check the student’s works on the blackboard . Step2

Presentation

1.Divide the letters Aa to Hh according to their pronunciations. Show three vowels /eɪ/ ,/i:/ and /e/ , and then teach students to read the vowels aloud, next ask students“Which letters including /eɪ/？”etc. Then divide them. /eɪ/
