Before listening, Ss know about how to obtain message from a schedule. 2)

While listening, Ss know how to catch the key information from the listening material. 3)

After listening, Ss know how to describe their favorite subject and tell why and when. Teaching key and difficult points 1. Key points: adjectives to describe attitudes and days of a week. 2. Difficult points: How to describe ones favorite subject from what to when. Teaching Procedures:

Step1: Greeting By playing the English song

Good time, T greets all the students by saying “Good morning, everyone! The song sounds good, right? I wish all of you have a good time in this class.”

Step2: Revision Ss play a game to quickly revise what they have learned from Section A . Step3: Lead-in Ss answer the three questions put forward by the flash ppt. Step4: Presentation 1.

Ss brainstorm more adjectives and use “and”, “but” to make up sentences with adjectives. 2.

T uses the adjective “busy” to lead in the days of a week. Ss ask and

answer the “When” questions.

Step5: Practice 1.

Pre-listening, Ss look at the schedule and answer the questions to better know about the schedule. 2.

While-listening, Ss write down the classes David talks about on the schedule, and the days David talks about each class. And Ss answer the three questions about David’s favorite subject.

Post-listening, Ss read the listening material to role-play and then make their own conversations. Ss work in groups of three or four to talk about. Their favorite subjects from kinds of aspects. And then T choose some Ss to show their group report. Step6: Summary T asks Ss the relationship between love and knowledge. After Ss share some opinions, T helps to make a summary by presenting the quote “Love is the first step to obtain knowledge.”.
