1.Students will be able to know the structure of a postcard. 2.Students will be able to write their own post cards and post them. Prior Knowledge: Students have been introduced how to write an invitation card, and a Thank-you letter.

Warming up: Game: 20 questions



In pairs, students have two minutes to brainstorm what they think the object behind the curtain is Elicit: Post card 1.

teacher shows students different kinds of postcards, Christmas post cards, New Year’s postcards, tourism postcards and so on 2.

Students listen and answer the questions Who wrote the postcard? Where was the person? When did the person write the postcard? 3.

T shows the structure of a postcard Receiver, sender, address, stamp, greetings, beginning part, body part, ending part 4, T regroup the students to table 1 and table 2 S1 reads out the postcard to the others in the group, S2, S3 try to fill in the sheet according to what they heard Ss report the sheet
