教案说明：

一、基于教材内容，进行单元统整、确定单课时话题

所用教材Oxford English 5B Module 4 Unit 2 Western holidays，本单元主要呈现了四个西方节日的名称、时间以及相应的活动。本单元分为四课时，分别学习四个节日的名称、时间以及相应的活动。本课是此单元的第4课时，主要在复习巩固前几个节日Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas和制作了南瓜灯的基础上，学习另一个西方节日Halloween的名称、时间以及相关活动。围绕着Ask and answer板块的核心句型来进行问答学习Halloween的相关内容。

二、挖掘文本内容，以不同阅读方式进行学习，提高学生阅读能力

本课时的主要内容是本单元的Look and read 板块，对于学生的英语阅读水平就有一定的要求。所以本节课就在书本原有的文本的基础上进行相应的拓展，让学生通过不同的阅读方式，如Read and circle，Read and choose, Read and answer 来锻炼学生的阅读水平，通过读语段、读图片，学生可以初步感知、理解文本内容，同时也培养学生不同的阅读技巧。

三、利用相关教学辅助推进文本，激发学生学习乐趣，培养学生文化意识

本课内容是关于西方节日文化的，Halloween对于学生来说是比较陌生但也非常有趣的。所以在文本推进过程中，要适当利用相关的教学辅助，如图片、视频等呈现万圣节的相关活动，让学生在刚开始学习时，这样有助于学生更好地对万圣节有所感知，同时也激发学生的学习兴趣，在学习过程中利用板书来帮助学生加深记忆，巩固文本内容。在文本的推进过程中，适当引导学生观察，发现节日特点，同时也利用一些万圣节的道具帮助学生体验感受节日的特点，培养学生的文化意识。
