School subject 教学设计说明

学生情况分析:

学生通过近五年的英语学习,已经积累了一定数量的词汇与一些重要的、常见的语法与时态,具备了一定的听说读写演的技能,大多数的学生具有语言学习和交流的欲望,愿意与同伴交流,有着较强的求知欲和表现欲。但是,由于现行教材的大容量和高密度,部分学生、特别是农民工子女由于英语基础弱、家庭及自身的重视程度不够,对英语学习的积极性不高,因此,教师要通过适当的教学途径进行有益调控和引导,充分发掘与运用教材所提供的有效信息,在情境中推进词句学习的运用,以满足不同层面学生之所需。

模块教学任务分析:

5B M2的学习主题是My favourite things,这个模块涉及到的词汇包括常见食品中肉类、蔬菜、主食、饮料(如:猪肉、牛肉;卷心菜、番茄、米饭、面条;果汁、牛奶等)、电影院里常见的事物(如:电影票、售票处、出口、入口等)以及学校开设的各种科目的英语名称(如:数学、信息技术、体育等)。

本模块涉及到的句型和语法有:一般过去时态的特殊疑问句What did…?、用情态动词“shall”询问他人意见、用疑问代词what询问别人有什么样的学科;还有“to have”句型、It’s time for…表达时间。同时,还复习了一般现在时的陈述句、there be句型以及情态动词can的陈述句和一般疑问句等。

本模块涉及的话题都源于学生的生活,与学生的日常生活关系紧密。其中,包括每天都要接触的食品饮料;每天都要学习的学校课程与科目;还有休息时间会去的电影院等。此外,还涉及了学生喜欢的一些很著名的儿童卡通电影。

在本模块的学习过程中,不仅要注意新旧知识的有机整合,还应顾及学生语言能力要求的递进训练,将学生听说能力的训练逐步转向听、说、读、写、练、用等综合技能的训练与培养,从而真正实现阶段目标。

单元教学任务分析:

5BM2U3 School Subjects 通过各类课程类单词的学习以及timetable为主线串联的问答学习,进一步了解学校课程的含义。在掌握课程类单词表达的基础上,形成课程表的内容。同时,在运用所学课程类单词的过程中,了解并判断课程的重要与否,从而形成良好的学习习惯。在此过程中,鼓励学生进行适当的提炼与概括,形成对某一类词汇的认识与表述。在此基础上,学会使用What classes do you have?来询问别人的学习科目情况并进行合理应对,从而形成对学校生活更为完整的认识与理解。

1、各学习项目分析

Look and learn: 核心学习板块,主要进行单词学习,包括类别区分。重点是:timetable, subject, Chinese, English, PE, IT, Art, Music, Maths, favourite等。

Look and say: 核心学习板块,主要进行句型学习。重点是:What’s your favourite subject?着重解决It’s time for…句型的表达。可以增加It’s time to …的表达方式,并对时间表述进行适量的复习和巩固。

Ask and answer: 辅助语言学习栏目。旨在进一步操练核心句型:--- What’s your favourite subject?

--- My favourite subject is …/ It’s … 和It’s time for …

Say and act: 能用基本句型讲述课程表的基本分布和安排,学习a short break和have a lunch break等词组,并在短文表述中加以运用。学会表达某一天的课程表情况,同时将自己的favourite subject在短文中得以体现。

Listen and enjoy: 语言欣赏栏目。通过朗朗上口的儿歌,强化对核心词汇的巩固,培养学生良好的语

感。

Learn the sound: 语音学习栏目。主要学习辅音/j/, /h/和/w/,形成字母组合与音标的链接,进一步树立音素概念,做到发音准确、到位。

Read a story: 阅读延伸。通过Peter和Danny上美术课的故事阅读,进一步操练核心学习内容,从故事的寓意中明确课程类单词的含义、感受同学间互帮互助的友谊。

2、知识要点介绍

(1)能学习和掌握学科类单词,如:timetable, subject, Chinese, English, PE, IT, Art, Music, Maths, favourite等;

(2)能运用问句来进行问答,如:--- What’s your favourite subject?

--- My favourite subject is … 同时,学会运用It’s time for … 的句型,并对时间表的安排做一定的阐述,了解他人的课程安排情况;

(3)能用基本句型讲述课程表的基本分布和安排,学习a short break和have a lunch break等,能基本句型组成短文加以运用。

(4)能掌握辅音/j/, /h/和/w/的发音,掌握与之匹配的字母或字母组合,如:yes, you, yellow, year, he, hat, who, whose, we, wind, when, what等含有相同发音的单词,做到学一个记一串。

单元课时教学构思:

本单元的学习主题是“School subjects”. 这是学生们非常熟悉的话题,在校的每一天,学生都要去接触并感受它,因而设计的具体内容可以包括对学科的认识、对学科的喜好以及展现在校一天的学习、生活情况等。

在本单元的教学中,我们以外校学生Jack到我校交流学习为主线展开学习。通过创设不同的教学情境,如:与Jack的互相交流介绍、学习学校的课表及相关学科;通过与Jack的对话交流来展开核心句型的学习与操练。

本单元的重点句型包括:1. What classes do we have today?

2. We have Chinese, Maths, … 3. It’s time for … 4. My favourite subject(s) is / are…等,前两个句型借助第一课时的单词教学进行学习和巩固,同时为第二课时的学习作好铺垫;后两个句型在第二课时中学习,并结合It’s time to …句型的表达,帮助学生在比较中理解新授、加深对新授的认识、记忆与运用。

为此,我们把第一课时的主题定为:Know about our school subjects;第二课时的主题定为:Talk about our favourite subjects。

而第三、四课时则在此基础上,通过阅读和故事教学巩固新授,不仅使学生能熟练表达在校一天的学习生活安排,也体会到从不同的课程中可以获得不同的知识,享受知识带给我们的快乐。

3)在明确课程定义的同时,基本了解课程表的具体分布; 4)初步了解各门学科的内容,培养学生形成较为合理的课程观念。

运用听力材料,让学生猜一个谜语,引出课程类单词Music,通过运用音乐欣赏,陶冶情操。口头问答练习,了解Music课程的定义。
