Teaching Procedure：

Step1 Pre-reading 1、Greet the whole class as usual.

2、I’ll let the students watch a video to keep the students relaxes.

3、Free talk. Let students discuss with desk mates about favorite food and do rap solitaire activities.

Hamburger is my favorite food. Step 2 While-reading 1. Skimming Play a video about a robot, and then students are required to listen to and go through the notes to underline the words of food. 2. Scanning

Read the notes carefully again and answer some detail questions on the screen. Let them get the main idea of the passage. 1)

1)First show the two notes on the screen and ask students to observe the differences between the Chinese notes and English notes.

2) Meanwhile, teach the letter structure of the English letter. Next, through the questions, students grasp the details of the notes and check the answers.

3) According to the characteristics of the vocabulary and

the sentences and pictures I have prepared, I will use Task Based Teaching Method to teach new sentences. Students should pay attention to the sentence patterns: I don’t like…but …is OK I like…but not…

4) Afterwards, show a table on the screen. Students finish the table. According to the table they complete the exercise “read and tick” on the book.

Step3 Post-reading 1. Dub for the video. Read the text following the tape. Students should pay attention to the stress, intonation and pause. Then students dub for the video.

2. Discussion Ask the students to discuss the language framework together and conclude the language framework. Finally, I make a demonstration and students fill in the blanks and read it out. 3. Game Students play a game “Catch the Bald Strong”. The “Bald Strong”

is one of the children’s favorite

cartoons. Invite ten students to come to the blackboard, and there is only one Bald Strong in it. The rest can be divided into two groups and

compete to find the real one by asking questions:

1) What’s your favourite food? 2) What do you like? 3) What don’t you like? They will wear masks of the bears. The winner in each round will get a star, and the winning group can get the prizes. Step4

Summary In this step, first I’ll divide the Ss into four groups and bring a competition into the class. Then I will ask the students what they have learnt in this class: How to write a note? What’s more, tell students to cherish food.
