Ⅳ.Teaching Procedures: Step 1. Warm up & Lead in a.Free talk. T:Hi,everyone.Nice to meet you. Ss: T:It’s ...It’s time for English class.Can I go outside? Can you go outside?B b.Let’s sing:“What can you do ?”

设计意图：在free talk中通过复习已学句型Can I....?自然过渡新知Can you.....?师生齐唱歌曲进一步拉近了师生间的距离，也让生在不知不觉中感知到本课核心句型“Can you ...?”

Step 2.Presentation 1.New words & sentences a.Show a video then help them to say “ learn some kung fu ”

b.Help Students understand the difference between “some”

and “any”. T: He can do some kung fu ,But I can’t do any kung fu .

Can you do any kung fu ? Ss: T: No problem, I can help you . 设计意图：阅读前通过创设情境突破课文中的单词、短语或句型为课文引出扫清了语言障碍，有利于教学的进一步开张。

2.Chain drill a.One St asks the next “Can you...?”If he/she can’t, Then says“No problem,I can help you”If he/she can ,let him/her ask the same question to the next. b.I want to post these cards to the Bb, Who can help me? Show the card to Ss “No problem, I can help you .”

设计意图：以生生、师生互动的形式培养学以致用的能力，通过对目标语言的机械操练，有效渗透了Learn together & Help each other的情感教育。

2.Introduce the background of the text. John’s class are having PE class now,The PE teacher , Mr Ma is talking with the children,let’s watch the video together. 3.Let’s talk a.Watch the video for the first time,pay attention to the Pronunciation and tone. b.Then,watch it again,tick or cross.

①The children have PE class in the afternoon. ②They learn some kung fu in PE class. ③John can’t do any kung fu. ④Oliver can’t do any kung fu. c.Read the dialogue one sentence by one sentence after the video then read in roles. 设计意图：三次播放动画，从初步的整体感知到细节问题的回答与描述，再到对语音语调的模仿：从整体到局部，让学生整体体验词汇与句型的语用情境，帮助学生形成语言运用能力。

Step 3 . Consolidation 1.B Let’s try. a.Before the listening ,they should know the task : “ Can Mike do any kung fu?”

Then choose the right answer after the first listening. b.Check the answer after the second listening. 2.Activity: Looking for the kind-hearted ? a.Do a survey:read these phrases first,then tick or cross. □ clean the room □ read books □ wash the clothes □ draw cartoons □ sing a song □ play the pipa □ ..... □ dance □ cook □ ......

b.Make a dialogue Make a dialogue with your partner according to the information above . You can use these sentences in your dialogue：

What can you do ? I can ...... Can you......? But I’d like to have a try. 设计意图：趣味主题活动进一步增强了学生学习兴趣，也使整个教学活动有声有色。让生在体验交流中获得了了成功的喜悦感。总之，这些活动能帮助学生有效地将语言知识转化为语言运用能力。

Step 4.Conclusion Show some pictures of people help each other and learn together with the PPT.When the music is played,T says: Maybe, there are some things you can’t do.Don’t be sad,your friends can help you . You can,I can’t , I can learn. You can’t, I can , I can help. You can’t, I can’t , we can help each other and learn together.

设计意图：通过图片、音乐和语言的有效传递，进一步深化了本课的情感目标。

Step 5. Homework 1.Listen and read “Let’s talk”3 times after class.

2.Help your friends to learn a new ability.
