Step 1 Warming up

1.Free talk

2.Enjoy a song ask: What’s this song about?

Step 2 Pre-reading

Play a guessing game

根据图片,文字,声音来猜测职业,用句型May be she/he is ...来描述

Teach: a writer, a pianist , a dentist , an astronaut, a dancer

Step 3 While-reading

1.Listen and match

Listen to the story time twice, and match.

Try to say: Mike wants to be...

2.Read and underline

Ask; Why do they have these dreams?

Work in pairs and use pencil to underline the reasons.

Ask six students to write the answers on the blackboard.

Check the answer and teach some phrases:care about; World Cup;in the future;a spaceship

Try to say “Mike wants to be... Because he...”

3.Watch and read
