1教学目标

语言知识: 1. 全班学生能听说、读写并在情境中运用词汇: beautiful, expensive, cheap, big, small, helpful. 2. 全班学生能朗读对话,听说认读:What color is it? It’s pink. Is it beautiful? It’s not beautiful, but it’s helpful.. 语言技能: 1. 全班学生能理解对话大意,并能正确朗读模仿和表演对话。

2. 大多数学生能在思维导图的帮助下进行小组活动,进行拓展阅读,以及介绍某种物品的特点。

情感态度: 学生能够通过交流、征询别人对某种物品的看法,梳理物品相对的优缺点,乐于表达自己的看法,培养善于观察的意识。

2学情分析

四年级学生属于中段,是一个承上启下的过渡阶段,孩子活泼可爱,敢想、敢说、敢做,求新求异的愿望非常强烈,并且有一定的语言基础和语法功底。在课堂教学中,老师不仅要通过丰富多彩的课堂教学活动激发学生的兴趣,而且应当注重在用中学,在学中用,“学以致用”,最后提高学生的语言综合运用能力。

3重点难点

1.

词汇expensive, cheap, helpful的音、义、形, 以及对物品的特征描述。

2.

正确掌握expensive的读音。能借助思维导图梳理如何描述物品特征。

4教学过程

活动1【导入】热身

1. Sing a song. T: I’ve got a song. Let’s sing it.

T: What can you hear in the song? Ss listen and say some words of the song, such as dog, cat, rabbit. 2. Talk about the beautiful things around us. T: Beautiful world around us. We have got a beautiful classroom. I’ve got a beautiful dress. What have you got? Ss introduce the beautiful things they have got. S1: I’ve got a ...

设计意图:用歌曲导入,欢快的歌曲很容易抓住学生的注意力。训练学生通过听力捕捉信息的能力。借助歌曲的语境,激活旧知,初步呈现功能句I’ve got...及形容词beautiful,引导学生开始观察并用学过的语言简单描述物品的一个特点。

活动2【导入】任务呈现

1. Show the picture of computer. Ask the students: What’s in my hand? Ss look at the picture and guess. 2.

Take the students to a computer shop. Teach the word expensive. Show some pictures with price tag, let the students compare with them and choose which one is expensive. Teach the word cheap--it means not expensive.

活动3【讲授】课文学习

1. Look and say: Amy has got a computer, too. Watch and find out Grandma’s questions.

T: Amy is talking about her new computer with her grandma. Can she see her grandma? Can Grandma see Amy? They are talking on the phone. So Grandma asks some questions about Amy’s computer.

Ss watch the cartoon of Activity 2, get grandma’s questions, and answer them. 2. Play the cartoon again. T: What does Amy ask about grandma’s computer? Can you guess? You can ask more questions, now let’s watch and check.

Get Amy’s questions: Is it big? Is it beautiful

3. Stick the key words around the picture3 of Amy’s and Grandma’s computers on the blackboard. Ss sum up the features of Amy’s and Grandma’s computers according to the key words. According to grandma’s answers, sum up the features of her computer.

4. Teach the word helpful. T: Why grandma’s computer is helpful?

S: She can send emails. So it’s helpful.

T: What other things can they do on the computers? Show some pictures about the use of the computer. T: Maybe they can see each other on their computers. It’s really helpful. Look at the pictures and say: They can talk on QQ. They can buy books, clothes on the computer. They can see a film on the computer. They can have a computer lesson. So, It’s helpful.

5. Then let them act out the dialogue in pairs. Ss act in pairs. 设计意图:通过匹配卡片的练习,学生在思维导图上找到不同电脑所对应的形容词的同时再次关注到购买物品时考虑的因素:时间、价格、外观(大小、颜色)、功能。从信息导图过渡到思维导图,培养学生的逻辑思维能力,同时为学生提供话题的内容框架,为后面自己进行语篇输出做好铺垫。通过学习如何根据思维导图,进行对话和陈述,发展认知策略。

活动4【活动】训练巩固

1. Fill in the blanks with the words you have learnt in this unit. Ss read the whole sentences. 2. Match the English words with its pictures. Ask S1come to the blackboard to do it. Ss check. 3.

Look at the pictures. Make sentences.

Let the students find out the adjectives on the blackboard. Then use the word to make sentences. Then ask some students to say more adjectives. （在此过程中，用不同的物品卡片来奖励说得好的学生，为之后的写作部分做铺垫,提供素材）

活动5【练习】任务完成

Ss guess the features of the other things . T: We know a lot about their computers. Now let’s get to know some other things.

Show some pictures; ask the students guess if they are expensive or cheap. Ss look at the pictures of Teddy bears, answer the teacher’s questions, think and guess which one is expensive.

Write about your favorite thing.（在之前）

T: We also have our favorite things. Look at the picture of the watch and say what it is like. Let the students read more and exchange the information by asking their group members. Ss talk about their favorite things.

活动6【作业】小结布置作业

Sum up: What have you learnt today? Homework: 1. Read the dialogue. 2. Draw and describe other things you have got..
