Teaching aims:

1.能够完成Start to read和Let’s check部分的读句子连线和听音打勾练习；

2.能够听懂、会说、认读本单元相关单词；

3.会唱Let's sing部分的歌曲；

4.能听懂并理解Story time中的故事，并尝试表演。

Focal points：1.能够完成Start to read的读句子连线练习；

2.能够完成Let’s check部分听音打勾练习。

Difficult points：1.听懂、会说、认读本单元所学数字单词；

2.能听懂并表演Story time中的故事。

Preparations: 1．本单元所有单词卡片和写有本单元重点句型的卡片；

2．音频、视频和课件；

3. 一个大袋子，里面装上数量为20以内的文具或其他物品；

4. 书写备用小黑板。

Teaching procedure: Step 1 Warm-up

The teacher presents some word cards and cards with focal

sentences to let students read out the words as quickly as they can.

Step 2 Review

1.Pairwork.

S1:How many books do you have?

S2:I have twenty.

S3:How many pens do you have?

S4:I have eighteen.

2.Group work.

S1:How many tigers do you see?

S2:I see twenty.

S1:How many pandas do you see?

S2:I see eighteen. Step 3 Presentation

1.Present different numbers of articles of pictures in the slide, and ask some students to ask questions about the picture. S1:How many tigers/ pandas/ books/ pens do you see?

S2: I see twenty / eighteen.

2. Open to page 63, ask students to read the sentences and finish the exercises. 3.Finish exercises on the book of page 64. 4. Play the video of“Let's sing”,ask students to follow and imitate it . 5.The teacher plays the record of story time, ask students to

understand the meaning and follow it. Then let some excellent students to act it out in the front.

Step 4 Consolidation

1. Listen to the song, ask students to sing together; 2. Act the story out without books.

Step 5 Homework

1.Let’s make our own chant.
