一、教材分析
本册绘本是典范英语第二册的内容，内容难以程度很适合四年级的孩子，绘本中所出现的语法以及动词短语孩子们也容易接受，所以孩子们在阅读时不不会出现畏难情绪，这样将会激发孩子们的阅读兴趣。
二、学情分析
本节课的教学对象是三年级的孩子，年龄在8—9岁之间，他们活泼好动，充满自信心和好奇心，模仿能力强，乐于参与各种英语教学活动。对于网络提供的图文并貌的拓展资源特别的感兴趣。学生对有关家庭的单词和句型还比较熟悉, 已经有了一定量的词汇和语言的积累,并且善于和同学、老师交流,也有了一定的语言表达的能力. 三、教学目标
1、能会说并使用动词短语tries to clean the table 等。以及句型 Eason tries to...和 Eason/I can...。
2、能较流利的朗读故事并能了解故事的大意。
3、能自然流利地表达故事。
4、能接受并爱自己的弟弟妹妹。
四、教学重难点：
1、重点：能较为流利的朗读故事并了解故意的大意。
2、难点：学生能表演故事内容。
五、情感目标：
通过学习理解父母的辛苦和学会接受二胎。
六、教学准备：PPT、卡片，头饰等。
七、教学过程
Step1. Warm up.
课前热身
(1) a.Sing a song:《I love my family.》
开始上课Class begins.
(1) Explain” a second child”
T: today we are going to talk about ” a second child”
Teacher and students talk about ” a second child”
(2) Look at the cover , The teacher explains the word” cover”
T: what can you see from the cover? Ss: I can see four people/ a dog/three pictures /a sofa……(教师引导学生说I can see a brother 等) S: I can see a brother /a sister/a mom/a bad) (3)Guess the name of the picture book. The Ss guess many names of the picture book (ppt提示书的名字，教师板书) 师生一起读Eason--- a big brother Step3. Presentation (1)T; Before you learn the story, I have two questions, after you learn the story, answer the question. Q1:Who is the new member of Eason’s family? Q2:How does Eason do when he has a baby sister?(让学生带着问题来阅读绘本) （2） Watch the video(观看绘本视频，让学生对绘本有初步感知)
（3）To learn the story. There is a new member of the family. Eason has a baby sister. The teacher explains word“member”. Eason wants some water, but Mommy and Daddy are very busy. T;Look at the picture Mommy and Daddy are very busy. What does Eason want to do? Ss: Eason wants some water. Eason tries to get some water for himself.(教师解释tries to 和get some water,并将重点句型贴在黑板上，学生操练重点句型 She/he/Mike tries to、、、、、) Oh,says Eason, It’s not easy.(教师解释单词 easy) “Let’s try to clean the table together,”says Mommy.(师解释clean the table 并将词组条贴在黑板上并操练。) “Good job!”says Daddy.Eason wants to try more things.(师解释more things) Eason tries to get dressed.(师讲授get dressed,并将词条贴在黑板上) Eason tries to brush his teeth. (师讲授brush his teeth,并将词条贴在黑板上) Eason tries to take a bath. (师讲授take a bath,并将词条贴在黑板上) Eason tries to tidy his room .(师讲授tidy his room,并将词条贴在黑板上) He does a good job! Eason can do more thing. T:Eason can do many things, what do you want to say to Eason? Ss: He does a good job! T: What can Eason do? Ss:He can tidy his room/go shopping/wash his socks...... He can help Mommy and Daddy too, They’re very happy. Eason is really growing up. He’s a good brother.,(师解释growing up) (4)Answer the questions Q1:Who is the new member of Eason’s family?
Baby sister. Q2:How does Eason do when he has a baby sister? He tries to do more things. Step4. Practice (1)The students read the picture book by yourselves. (2) Read the picture book together. (3)Retell the story.(让学生填空来复述故事，进一步对故事进行巩固) （4）Watch the video and picture, talk about how do you do when you have a baby sister or brother? (扩展学生的思维，让学生自由讨论) Step5. Consolidation Write a short passage《I am growing up》

在本次绘本教学中，我更多的关注的是孩子们通过阅读以后他们了解了什么，是否体会到父母的辛苦，是否能接受二胎，我觉得觉通过本次绘本学习，对于孩子的心理教育起了很大的作用。语言的习得不是最重要的，在孩子阅读过程中如何提供帮助是需要我思考的。我的目的是激发孩子对于英语以及英语之外的世界的探索的兴趣，我认为这是一节比较成功的绘本阅读课。
