Activity Three Listening and speaking Step 1 Presentation

Talk about kites with different shapes.

Listen to a conversation and finish Part A1on p75. Step 2 Practice

1. Talk about the history of kites.

Have a group competition: Guess who they are and what happened between kites and them.

2. Listen to Mr Wu’s talk and match each person with the correct event of Part A2 on p75.

Read and remember the four persons’ events.

3. Listen to the talk again and finish Part A3 on P76.

Listening tips (1). Before listening, we should read the passage quickly and try to find the useful information.

(2). When we listen to something long, we must try to get keys words.

Check the answers.
