教材分析：

这是一节关于国家文化的阅读课，整篇文本分为两部分，前半部分向学生传达关于信息获取的渠道（即学习策略）后半部分侧重于介绍澳大利亚的动物，运动，城市的不同特征，从而综合体现出该国家的趣味所在。整篇文章对于六年级学生而言，词汇量不多，阅读难度不大。教师要在文本第二部分关于澳大利亚文化上有所侧重，从文本出发，挖掘出更多有趣的文化知识。充分培养学生的跨文化意识。

学情分析:

学生已处于六年级下学期，已基本掌握了小学阶段的所有词汇，有一定的单词储备，可以自由表达自己的想法。对于英语短文可以通过阅读了解大意，但是没有一定的科学方法以及阅读技巧，时常抓不住关键性信息，并且对于英语阅读欠缺自己的思考。

教学目标

1.

通过快速阅读，懂得如何迅速找到短文的主题句。

2.

通过精读并结合课本图片，捕捉文章的关键信息，养成一定的阅读技巧。

3. 培养学生对澳大利亚这个国家的文化的兴趣，拓宽他们的文化视野。
