When is your birthday? My birthday is in May. 能力目标：能用所学的词汇和句式描述身边朋友或亲人的生日。

情感目标：让学生了解亲人的生日，教育学生孝敬父母。

教学过程：

一、

Greeting ：Good morning，boys and girls！

How are you？

Are you happy？

Nice to meet you！

设计意图：一上课，老师与学生亲切自然的问候可以使学生快速融入英语学习氛围，为下一步教学做铺垫。

二、

Lead-in Show the calendar and ask：What is it？学生可能会用汉语做答：日历。教师追问：How many months are there in a year? Twelve months. Who can spell “month”? 学生拼单词,教师板书课题:Lesson 9 Months of the year 设计意图：用日历直观形象地直接引出本课的主题，学生就会快速进入月份的思考状态。

Presentation 月份教学：

学生运用提前准备好的月份卡片或台历自己读一读，想一想，哪些月份会，哪些不会？

小组之间取长补短，会的教不会的。使用句子询问：

Can you say this month in English?

. 利用月份卡片小组间展示教学，按顺序说出12个月份，教师聆听、纠错。把月份卡片板书在黑板上。

从台历上观察月份的缩写形式，总结规律去记忆。

观看幻灯片(1)，快速说出月份的单词。再次使用句子询问：

Can you say this month in English?

. Play a game: What is missing?（教师移走黑板上的任意一张卡片，让学生猜一猜缺了哪个月份）

设计意图:通过游戏让学生轻松愉快地氛围中快速掌握单词。

句型教学：

老师唱: Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you…

Ask: My birthday is in May. When is your birthday?（打开幻灯片（2），让学生试着去替换教师可以和学生之间多示范几组。

每个同学去调查小组中三位同学的生日，并记录在表格中。

汇报调查结果，用这样的句式: Li Ming’s birthday is in Jan.. Teacher:

通过幻灯片（4），再次巩固月份单词的缩写形式。边看边巩固句型：
