一、教学目标

能熟练掌握和识记本课单词：men, women, children, people, many 能灵活运用本课所学内容，对身边的人物进行描述

培养小组合作意识与互帮互助精神

二、教学重点、难点

三、教学过程：

Step 1: Class opening and review

2. Greeting: Hello! Boys and girls! How are you? 2. Three minutes before the class. Let’s sing a song.

（设计意图：上课伊始，教师与学生自然的问候可以使学生快速融入英语学习氛围，同时为下一步教学做铺垫。）

3. Show the picture of “Tian’anmen Square” to the students.

What’s this? Where is it? Who can say something about Beijing? …

So, Beijing is great! Let’s go on a trip to Beijing by train.

4. Show the train on PPT. Now we’re on the train. We will go on a trip to Beijing.

Can we jump on the train? Can we look out the window on the train? Ok. What can you see? （设计意图：创设在火车内的情境，使学生不知不觉引入新知，街接自然，让学生在玩中学，学中玩）

Sept 2: The work before the class. part 1 1、出示man图, What can you see? 板书

This is a man. / This is one man. 2、出示men图, Is this a man?

These are many men.拼读men.从音形区别man 与men.（说明men是man的复数形式）

3、出示woman图, Who is this? 板书This is a woman./ This is one woman. I am a woman, too.

4、出示women图, Is this a woman? These are women. Many women. How many women? 4 women.拼读women. 从音形区别woman 与women. 5、出示boy and girl图, This is a boy and a girl.

Who is a boy? Stand up, please. Who is a girl? Stand up, please. Boys and girls are children. 板书，拼读children=child+ren.

6、出示people图, Men, women and children are people.板书，拼读people.

1.T: Listen! 火车鸣笛声What happened?

The train is arriving in Beijing. This is the Beijing train station. （出示北京站图片）Look! There are many people in the Beijing Train Station. We are in the Beijing train station too.

I am very tired. Are you tired? Yes, everyone is tired. 板书everyone. （设计意图：通过动画出示单词直观、形象，并在教授单词时说明各个词之间的区别及记忆方法、技巧，渗透给学生学习策略。）

2、Do you want to know Li Ming, Danny, Jenny and Mrs. Li see in the train station? 3. Let’s listen to the tape. 出示four pictures. Discuss these questions. When does Li Ming arrive in Beijing? Who are they?

What are they doing? （设计意图：学生带着明确的任务听录音，可以帮助学生理解文本大意，利于培养学生语言运用能力。）

4.指名回答。

5.齐读课文。

2. Listen to the dialogue of part 2. 3. Ask students to do “Fill in the blanks”.
