一、教材内容分析

本节课是第三单元的第二篇阅读，是一篇泛读文章。文章主要介绍电话的发明者Bell的生平以及他的发明，特别是电话的发明。通过阅读的不同技巧来提高学生的阅读能力。

二、教学目标

1、通过本节课的学习，让学生了解到Bell的生平简介以及重大发明、发现。

2、理解Bell人生格言的意义。

3、积累一些实用的写作句型以及词汇。

4、运用本节课的所学内容，进行针对性写作训练。
