It has been a long time since I wrote to you.

Today I’d like to tell you about the sports meeting I took part in. In December, we had a sports meeting in our school. I participated in the 3000-metre race. I kept practising for three weeks before the match. I managed to stand at the starting line for the final. Unfortunately, I fell behind others very soon.

I tried to run faster, but fell down to the ground, with blood running out of my knees. I struggled to my feet and kept on running. Although I felt badly painful, I ran to the end. As you can see, I lost the match. I’m not regretful because I believe it’s more important to keep to the end.
