Step One: Leading-in 利用学生最爱看的《歌手》节目，虚拟一位观众Maryy,以她的话引出直接引语进而间接引语。

Marry

said, ‘I like watching Singer.’

Ask students what did Marry say.-->Marry said that she liked watching Singer.

Step Two: Direct and Indirect Speech 1,人称变化

一随主

Marry said, ‘I like watching Singer.’

She said that she liked watching Singer.

二随宾

Marry said to me, ‘Do you like watching the program?’

She asked me whether ___liked watching the program.

第三人称不更新

Marry said, ‘He likes watching the program as well.’

Marry said that ___liked watching the program as well 2,时态

Marry said, ‘Jessie J is my favorite singer.’

Marry said that

J J ______ her favorite singer.

Peter said, ‘I am occupied now.’

Peter said that he _____ occupied now.

一般现在时=====>一般过去时

He asked the teacher, ‘When will we have

our sports meeting

一般将来时=====>过去将来时

现在完成时=====>过去完成时

注意一下三种情况时态的变化

直接引语为客观真理

He said, ‘I joined the Party in 1987.’

直接引语有具体时间状语

3,时间状语、地点状语、指示代词及方向性动词的变化:

Marry said, ‘These singers will come to Changsha tomorrow.’
