1.The reading and discussion part 目的在于让学生了解不同形式和内容的申请信。学生通过朗读初次感知申请信的结构。再通过小组讨论掌握申请信的写作方法，重点句式和连词运用等。此环节为下面的写作进行铺垫。

2.PartII部分让学生了解写作评分标准和要求。

3.The writing part分两部分完成。首先，让学生利用本节课所学重设计说明

点改写文中会用到的重点句子，学以致用，又不拘一格。然后学生连句成篇，整体上掌握申请信的写作方法和技能。接下来让学生根据评分标准，互相批改作文，共同提高。最后，展示学生作品，发现并解决共性问题。此环节重点训练学生写的技能，从而提高学生英语语言运用能力。
