We can find information from books and CDs. 一、Teaching Aims: (一）Aims of knowledge

1. Be able to listen、speak and read the words：information, e-book,

project,guide, topic

2. Be able to listen、speak and read the sentence pattern：We can fmd information from books and CDs. (二）Aims of abilities

1. All the students are able to use the words: film, on, way; Part of students are able to use the words:information, e-book, project, guide, topic, as well

2. All the students can be able to use the sentence pattern:

We can fmd information from books and CDs. (三）Aims of the emotion，learning

strategies and culture 1. Aims of the emotion：鼓励学生参与广泛的社会调查活动，培养广泛的兴趣爱好和积极向上的生活态度，感受生活的美好。

2. Aims of learning strategies：积极运用所学的语言进行表达与交流，加强合作，共同完成学习任务。

3. Aims of culture：更深入的了解中国文化，从而提升学生爱国情怀。

（一）Review

1、Let`s guess.

2、Practise:

T: Look,1 want a science book,I can find a science book on shelf B.

What do you want?

S1: I want a CD book.

T: Where can you fmd CD book?

Sl: I can find____on shelf B. 【设计意图】在谈论中复习science, CD,computer等单词，并让学生在本课时相关句型中进行练习，从而降低课文学习难度，体现循序渐进的教学原则。

（二）Preview

1. e-book:

T: I have a magic book. It’s very small but these books are all in my little book, can you guess? S：E-book. T: Good, please look at letter "e", we can read…．

2.出示library图片，look at this library, what can you find? Let's have a look.复习单词newspapers, computers, CDs, film，引导学生说句子：

I can find____from library. 【设计意图】让学生充分感知图书馆内容，为学生找信息来源做准备。

3、Let's chant T:

What can you find from the library? Sl: I can find ____ from library. S2: I can find ____ from library. S3: I can find ____ from library. T: There are many interesting things.We can do…. Let's go to the library. 【设计意图】本节课的目标语逐渐显出来，为进一步学习做了很好的铺垫。

（三）Pesentation：

1、看彩图

T: Look, today two children want to go to the library with us.What are they going to do? Let's watch the video.

2、教学do a science project T:

What are they going to do?请生寻找答案。

T:

Look！They are going to do a science project about animals.

出示词卡project，高低声练习，one by one读。

3、教学topic, guide, information (1) topic T: Children, when we do a science project.We need three steps. Step 1: We need a topic. 教读topic明词意，one by one读。

In this passage,

the topic is about animals. (2) Guide T: Step 2: We should make a guid

出词卡，教读，练习。

T: This topic is about animals,let's guess what animals.Maybe kangaroo,

pandas, tigers. T: Look at kangaroo,

I have a guide about kangaroo.

展示提纲，帮学生理解guide. (3) information

T: please look at the guide, they are all called information. So, step 3: Find information.教读，one by one读，拼读记忆。

【设计意图】让学生在Do a project这个实际情景中习得语言guide, topic, project，有比较形象的理解，帮助学生降低学习难度，增强语言运用能力。

(4) Where can we find information? T: Do this project, where can we find information?

Please talk with

your partner. 【设计意图】教师加以引导，让学生自己发现find information from …，以加深印象。

(5) listen the passage. Where can they find information?请生寻找并画出相关句型。

(6) 理解as well, way, on (五)Practise 出示PPT图片，利用重点句型，What information can you get from them?请学生自己描述。

【设计意图】让学生更清楚如何获取信息，并明白在哪些地方获取

信息，为实际的语言运用做好准备。

（六）运用

生成（Production）

1.课文教学—文本呈现

让生拿出文本，给学生时间了解大意，圈出不会的词。

2.情景练习

（1）让生听录音，注意不认识词的发音。

（2）放视频，让生跟读，注意语音语调。

（3）让生自由读。

（4）四人一组读。

（5）依据思维导图，文本复述。

（七）Extension 1.T show a project; 2. Do a project T: Children, from Module 3 we know the traditional English food. But I think Chinese food is very famous in the word. So, let's do a project about Chinese food.生做，师指导。

【设计意图】让学生在收集素材中，更深入的了解中国文化，从而提升学生爱国情怀。
