一、教学目标：

1、知识目标

(1)使学生掌握句型“There weren’t any buses. We lived in a small house.”和“There are lots of buses and cars.. We live in a big house.”的正确表达。

(2)使学生了解语篇内容并熟读文章。

2、能力目标

(1)使学生能灵活运用所学句型表达生活中的变化。

(2)使学生能在创设的情景中有感情地分角色朗读课文。

3、情感目标

使学生在学习活动中意识到我们身边社会都是在不断变化，不断进步。

二、教学重点：

能清晰准确地发出本课所教单词的音，并把握描述过去和现在的变化。

三、教学难点：

把握描述过去和现在的变化。

五、教学过程：

Step1、Warm-up

1.播放歌曲《if you are happy clap your hands》

T: Are you happy ? I am very happy to see you again.

2.Free talk T：“Did you have a good time in your holidays? Were there any happy things in your holidays?”

3.复习动词过去式

am , is → was are → were do → did live → lived watch → watched

4. Watch the video

教师总结Every thing is changing , No change No progress.

设计意图：激发学生的学习兴趣。

Step2、Presentation

1.

Look at the pictures and say what's the difference.看图片并说说不同。

2.

从而理解there is，there are，there were的用法。

3、Watch a video and find the answer

（1）What's the programme about?

（2）What does the old lady say? （3）How was the life different in China many years ago?

（4）How about now?

（5）Which life do you like?

4、Listen and imitate! 5、Read in roles 每组请两位学生上来表演比赛。

Step3：Practice

Look and say 让学生分组讨论准备，谈论图中内容，然后每自组派一格代表来讲给全班同学听。使学生体验学习、参与、合作、竞争的乐趣。

Step4：情感教育

比较过去与现在的生活体会到我们现在生活在幸福的社会主义，让学生感觉到社会主义就是好，培养学生的爱国主义情操。
