教材分析：

本课是三年级起点四年级下册Module 9 unit 1的课文教学。课型为新授课。本模块要求学生掌握重点句型Did you/he/she…?及回答Yes,I/he/she did.和No, I/he/she didn’t.来询问他人过去做过什么事情。学生通过对课文的整体理解，在语言的习得中，对句型进行有意义的操练，从而培养学生的综合语言运用能力。同时，增强学生对英语学习的积极性，使其主动参与学习。在课文学习的同时，加强对文化意识的渗入，让学生通过对课文的理解，了解更过关于美国城市的知识。

学情分析：

四年级的学生已经学了一年多的英语，有一定的知识技能基础，英语学习习惯也基本形成。在以前的学习中，孩子们已经初步学习了过去式，以及Do you…?一般疑问句的学习。教师要充分利用学生已有知识，积极调动学生参与学习，从学生的生活经验和兴趣为出发点，使学生“学以致用”。

教学目标：

1、语言知识目标

①通过听读课文，理解重点句型的意思，把握语篇大意；

②New words: welcome,postcard,cousin,travel

Sentences: Did he/she….?Yes,he/she did. / No,he/she didn’t. 2、语言能力技能目标

会用Did sb…?的句型询问别人过去发生的事情，并对其回答。

3、情感态度目标

通过对本课的学习，培养学生对英语学习的积极性，对生活的热爱。

教学重点: 通过听读课文，理解重点句型的意思，把握语篇大意；灵活使用Did he/she…？的句型来询问别人过去做过的事情。

教学难点：

灵活使用Did he/she…?及其答语进行交际。

教学过程：

Step 1:Warm-up and lead-in 1、Greetings: Hello! Boys and girls! Welcome to my class! 2、Free talk: T introduce her travel and ask Ss “Where did you go last holiday? Did you go to…?”

(教师用轻松自然的对话方式，引入今天的话题交流，为后面的学习创设语言情景，同时感知和新单词的学习，如：welcome，travel) 3、Pair work: Did you go to…? Yes, I did./ No, I didn’t. (利用两人练习，让学生初步进行Did…?一般疑问句的练习，也为后面询问第三人称做铺垫) 4、Let’s say a chant: Activity 1 Step 2: Presentation 1、T: I like travel and I’ve got so many postcards. Our friend Daming has got one,too.It’s about New York.Did he live in New York?...Who sent the postcard to him?

Attract their attention to look at the cartoon and find the answer. (通过提问：明信片的由来？引导学生进行语篇的学习) 2、Check their answer and learn new word“cousin”.(引出语篇中另一个主人翁，为后面的故事情节的学习和理解做铺垫) Step 3: Learn the text 1、Listen and repeat,then find the answer“Did he live in New York Last year?”（随着故事的发生，不断提出问题，帮助学习理解语篇人物的活动）
