1、能运用It is...It has got ...It lives /eats... Its fur is...等句型描述动物的信息。

2、能运用句型Has it got...?Does it live/eat ...?Is it..?进行猜测动物的游戏。

3、掌握四会单词：cow, lion, rabbit, horse, elephant, polar bear, kingfisher, tiger, rhino, panda, dirty, grass, work, yesterday 4、能够读懂描述动物的短文并能完成相应的练习或活动。

5、了解濒危动物们的生活和生存现状，激发学生热爱自然和保护动物的情感。

培养学生利用现代信息技术查阅资料，获取信息的意识。

重点：帮助学生读懂描述动物的短文，培养阅读能力。

难点：深入理解短文并运用短文句型。

雪豹 雪豹是一种生活在高海拔山区的美丽而濒危的猫科动物。中国是世界上拥有雪豹数量最多的国家，估计有２０００－２５００只，主要分布在青海、新疆、甘肃、四川、云南、西藏和内蒙古。有“雪山之王”之称的雪豹是一种大型猫科食肉动物，原产于亚洲中部山区，生活在海拔３５００－５５００米的雪线附近。上世纪开始，由于非法捕猎等因素，其全球种群数量急剧减少，目前估计野生种群在３５００－７０００只。中国将雪豹列为国家一级保护动物。国际自然保护联盟１９７２年将其纳入全球濒危物种红色名单。

黑犀牛 在最新的报告中显示，2012年7月一个月时间内已有281头犀牛被杀，如果这种情况持续下去，2012年年底之前将可能有逾500头犀牛死亡。南非是犀牛的主要栖息地，非洲20000头白犀牛和4800头濒危黑犀牛中，约有四分之三生活在南非。近些年，南非针对犀牛的复杂、暴力、有组织的犯罪活动空前猖狂。

C. 猩猩 使用的棕榈油不仅推动了印尼热带雨林和泥炭地的破坏，导致濒危物种红猩猩愈加濒临灭绝，更加速了全球气候变化。
