一、教材内容与教学思路。

本节课的教学内容选自人教版三年级下Unit3 At the zoo Part C Story time. 本课以动物为主题，主要内容为动物以及如何描述动物。由于本课的句型比较简单，内容相对单一，所以在教学设计时以文本为抓手，佐以与课题相关的绘本。

本课的教学对象是三年级的学生。经过一学期的语言积累，学生们有了一定的语言基础，，他们拥有一定的英语交际表达能力。对于动物他们并不陌生，但知识容量还不够。同时三年级的学生对英语学习有着饱满的积极性，他们渴望学到更多的英语知识，所以绘本的植入大大地满足了孩子们学习的渴求。因为绘本本身相对于课本来讲是有点难度的，所以在阅读过程中学生要开动脑筋，小组合作。这又是一个培养思维发展的过程。在课本与绘本学习中，让孩子们真正爱上英语。

二、教学目标设计

（一）知识目标：

1. 能听、说、读、写动物的单词。

2. 能熟练运用句型：It is …和It has …的句型

3. 能区分单词的单复数形式。

4.能够熟练阅读绘本。

（二）能力目标：

借助绘本，培养学生自主学习的能力和掌握新知识的能力；发展学生的思维能力和培养学生的创新意识和相互协作意识。

（三）情感目标：

创设学习情境，激发学生学习的热情和兴趣，提高学生学习的积极性

和主动性。在学习过程中，培养学生们，热爱生活的良好情趣。

三、教学重点和难点

根据本课的教学内容和学生特点，结合本课的教学目标与学习目标，确定本课的重点、难点：

1. 能听、说、读、写单词

2. 能辨别掌握单复数形式。

3. 能熟练运用句型：：It is …和It has …的句型

4. 绘本的难点是动物的单词以There are…。

绘本《What is at the zoo?》、教学课件、板书卡片等。

Step 1 Warm-up

Self-introduction. Show a teacher’s picture. Ask Ss questions (1)What’s my favorite color? (2)What’s my favorite food? (3)What’s my favorite animal? T: I like animals and I know many animals. Step 2 Teaching the story . 1.

Look at the book. Find the answer to the question. Who knows all the animals?
