一、单元教材内容
【教学目标】
知识目标:1.能正确朗读和书写字母
Uu, Vv, Ww。
2.能较为熟练地运用本单元核心词汇
fox, hippo, meat, grass 说动物的名称及喜爱的食物,并能正确书写。
3.能在动物名牌和句型结构的提示下,较为熟练地运用本单元的核心句型
Look at ... It’s ... It can (do) ... It likes ...描述动物的名称、外形、喜爱的食物、能力及所处区域。
能力目标:通过博物馆的奇妙经历,借助听力、阅读、讲解等途径,初步了解收集信息、处理信息、归纳信息的基本方法。
情感目标:了解动物的特征和习性,初步体验和感受动物与动物、人与动物、人与自然间的和谐关系。
【教学重点】能较为熟练地运用本单元核心词汇

【教学难点】较为熟练地运用本单元的核心句型

【教学过程】
I. Lead in 1. walking in the jungle 2. self-introduce 3. free talk II. Presentation
Step1:T: How are you today?
Ss: Fine,thank you. and you?
T: I’m great. Are you afraid of animals? Are you afraid of tigers? I am not afraid of tigers, because I was born in the year of tiger. So,please do not afraid of tiger,ok?They are our friends.
Step 2:We have learned many animals We also have learned many plants…Can you choose one to introduce to us? Human beings 、animals and plants are equal.
Step3: If you were Tippy, how do you introduce yourself to your wild animals?
Step4: If you were wild animals, how do you introduce yourself to Tippy?
Step5:learn the chant and make a new chant.
Step6:the animal meeting
Steep7: Earth:A magical day. (From now on, We should cherish ourselves, cherish our life and all the lives around us and get along well with the earth.)
Ⅲ. Homework 1.listen and follow the dialogue and the chant.
2.Using practical action to express how you cherish your life and all the lives around you and get along well with the earth. (Read the dialogue on P50.)
