Teaching Scope: Selected course- Book 10 Unit 4 Learning efficiently- Language Background information of the context: This lesson is the third class in this unit. The students will learn about three kinds of learning style. And then they’ll discuss efficient ways of acquiring new vocabulary. The students should be able to write a reply to give suggestions on helping solve his/her friend’s problem. Key teaching goals: 1.

Enhance students’ skills while the students can apply what they learnt about ads into practice. 2.

Usage of vocabularies, including words and expressions, ideas 3. Guide students to understand background knowledge through the passage. 4. Grasp the basic ideas of new words and expression through reading. Difficulties of teaching: 1. Enable students to learn to use context-based languages. 2. Guide students to understand some difficult long sentences in this part. Teaching Methods: Task-based approach: Group discussion, Audio-visual approach, Q&A sections. Three-dimensional teaching goals:
