一.教学目标:

1. C an use “were” or “was” say the easy things in the past.

2. Be able to understand the past tense.

3. Read and understand the sentences.

Be able to understand the past tense.

三.教学过程:

Step1:Review and Lead in (复习导入)

1. T guides students to read the words in last class:

was, then, grandparent, were…

2.Sing the song“Oh, we love holidays”(调动学生的学习兴趣,营造课堂气氛)

3. Review some adjectives : big-small, young- old, tall- short, long- short, fat-thin… Have Ss make or read the sentences with the pictures.(为后面的课文学习做好铺垫)

Step2: New teaching (学习新课内容)

1.教师示范:

T takes out the old photos and say sentences in English:

T: “Please look at this photo. This is me. I was two then. Please read after me.

”Next take ou t the book for page 26. Let’s learn the new text.

(教师可以通过肢体语言和神情让学生领会并理解自己所表达的意思)

2.Listen to the tape and read after the tape. (听并跟读)

T guides Ss to listen to the tape and ask Ss to read the sentences after the tape.

(教师运用多媒体教学,让学生感知语言内容,调动学生的视觉,听觉,让学生积极的参与到学习中来)

Step3. Practice:

1. point the photos and say :Who is……?I was ……

2.Ask and answer in pairs

3.Play a game: introduce your family in the past.

(通过小组合作,练习语言,培养学生的合作能力)

Step4:Homework(作业布置)

Read and write the new words and sentences.
