Teaching demands: 1.Learn the new words: in, on, under, behind, table, bed, hide and seek. 2. Learn the new sentences: Where is ...? It’s.... Is it ...? Yes, it is./No, it isn’t. 3. Read and understand the story, then act out.

Key points:

Difficult points: Act out the story. Teaching aids: ppt, real obiects.

Teaching steps: Step 1 Warming up: 1.Let’s do. 2. Revision: on, in, under. 3. Free talk: Where is the ball? It’s... 设计思路：在这个环节的创设使孩子们能充分投入到课题学习，抓紧他们的注意力，并且寓教于乐，激发他们的英语学习兴趣。

Step 2 Presentation/ Practice

1. Learn “behind”

(1) T: Where is the ball? It’s behind the box. (2)Listen-speak-read. (3) Act: I’m behind you.

2. Hide and seek (1) Watch cartoons. T: What’s this cartoons about. Ss: It’s about hide and seek.

(2) Teach: hide and seek. 3.Watch the video about story time, then answer the question.

T: Who are playing the game?

Ss: ... 4.Watch the video again and answer the questions.

(1) Is Zip under the table? (2)Is Zip under the bed? (3) Is Zip in the toy box? (4) Where is Zip ? 5. Look at pictures and teach: under the bed\table?

6.Listen and read. Step 3 Extension/ Consolidation 1.Read the story. 2.Fill in the blanks. 3.Act out the story. 4.Act out their own stories. 设计思路：学生通过进一步理解课文，并将其展现出来，能力得到更大的提高，并且这是一个非常好的内化的过程，将英语学习落到实处。
