Students can act out the story and feel the love of the family. 3.

Students know about the picture book My dad .

1.Understand the words and sentence “beautiful, actress, Wait a minute .”

and eager to read it by themselves.

Teaching aids: PPT, students’ family photos, the copies of the picture book,scarves.

Teaching procedures: Step 1 Warming up

Greet the children . How are you today ? Nice to see you again . ( 通过简单的日常问候，复习所学过的基本句型，让学生在

轻松的氛围中进入课堂学习中）

Step 2 Leading in

1.Invite students to sing a song “I love my family”(通过歌曲，进一步熟悉所学句型，活跃课堂气氛，让学生初步感受家庭之爱并将学生迅速引入英语学习的环境中来。）

Step 3 Presentation

1.

Present the teacher’s family photos and lead Ss to practice the sentence structures.“Who’s that man/woman/boy...?”“He’s/She’s my father/mother/brother...”Ss do pair work to practice it.(通过教师示范例句，学生操练例句的小活动来回顾句型，并为故事里即将出现的重要句型做好准备）

Though a short story of teacher’s brother and a picture, let students understand the sentence “Wait a minute !”

Then students shout out the sentence to practice it. 3.

Give students some information about teacher’s brother and student guess what he does.(He’s a student.) Present a teacher’s photo and students guess what she does. Then present an actress’

photo and students guess what she does.Lead in new word “actress” and “She’s an actress.”

Present the teacher’s photo and lead in the word “beautiful”.Students practice the word and the sentence “She’s

beautiful./How beautiful.”Present the photos of our clean and beautiful school and let children know others clean the campus and make it beautiful.(通过环环相扣的信息和多样的形式来呈现课文中出现的重要单词和句子，做到词不离句，句不离语境。并适时进行情感和价值观的渗透）

Present the story .Students watch the flash and answer the questions. 6.

Lead students to read the story by themselves and answer a question “What does Zoom’s mother do ?”Then check answer together.(通过Zoom的图片和其父母的图片，激发孩子对故事的猜想，并通过动画呈现故事，带着问题看动画，调动孩子探索的积极性，再通过孩子自己阅读朗读加深对故事的理解）

Step 4 Practice

1.

Play the recording and students read after it to practice and check the pronunciations .Invite several students to role read the story step by step . 2.

Students do group work to role play the story.The teacher provides help if necessary.Then invite several groups to act out the story .(通过齐读，分角色读，小组演一演等方式加深孩子对故事的理解，体验合作交流的快乐，体会故事蕴含的乐趣）

Step 5 Extension

Bring out the picture book “My dad”

and introduce it . Lead students to read and understand some part of the book.Inspire students to read it after class by themselves.（结合课文主题，给孩子推荐同主题绘本，引导孩子发掘绘本中的想象力的体现，激发孩子课下主动探索绘本的强烈意愿。）

Step 6 Summing up and homework

1.Evaluate the performance of the children in class .Let students feel the family loves us and we love them too.Then sing the song “I love my family” again together .（及时给与积极地评价并让孩子感受到家人的爱，再次以歌曲升华主题。）

2.Homework: 1）.Give your family a hug .

2）.Retell the story to your family.3.Introduce your family to others.（布置丰富的作业形式，将课堂的教育延伸至课下）

教学反思：本节课整体目标达成，课堂气氛活跃，孩子快乐上课的同时感受到英语小故事的趣味，也在内心种下了探索课外英语绘本故事的小种子。情感升华部分比较自然，引导孩子站在家人的角度思考，体味家人之间的爱。在呈现故事部分形式可以再多样一些，如果添加更多的小游戏或竞争环节可能会更好。
