教后反思：

本节课主要围绕“保护地球”这一主题，文本材料阐述性较强、趣味性不强。主要讲述了保护地球的四种途径：Save water, Save energy, Save trees, Don’t use too much plastic。并围绕四个话题探讨了原因和好的做法。

我在设计本课时：第一段教师带着学生学习，鼓励学生思考怎么学习第二部分，学生试着自主提问、分析问题、解答问题，并思考深层次的问题，表达自己的做法和想法。最后放手鼓励学生围绕Why和How自主学习文章另外三个部分，同时有明确目的去小组自学，小组内部自己解决新单词问题以及朗读语篇。在学习课文每部分话题时，引导学生理解文本的同时，更要学会去阅读文本的方法。在读后拓展环节中，通过Make a speech的方式，帮助学生自由表达对本课话题的理解，既达到对文章部分内容的复述要求，又激发学生的深层次的分析思维活动，同时孩子们也更有表现欲望。

我的课堂还有一些提升空间，如在处理语篇时，第一段“Save water”要多给学生自己说的空间，帮助学生提炼“How”和“Why”去理解文本而不是告诉学生用它们去理解课文。只有学生自己发现这样的语言，才能真正用它们去理解其它段落。从而，在这样的学习方法下学生能够潜移默化地学会阅读的技能，这才是对学生们来说英语核心素养的培养。
