指导思想与理论依据

《英语课程标准》中明确指出,基础教育阶段英语课程的任务之一是：激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣，使学生树立自信心,养成良好的学习习惯和形成有效的学习方法，发挥自主学习的能力和合作精神，使学生掌握一定的语言综合运用能力，倡导体验、实践、参与、合作与交流的学习方式和任务型的教学途径，培养学生跨文化交际意识。本课是北京版五年级上册第三单元第九课，本课的内容围绕“节日”这一话题展开，涉及“When is the...?”

“It’s on the... . ”

“Can you tell me more about...? ”

等句型、与他人讨论中国传统节日的日期和习俗。

教学背景分析

1．教学内容分析：

本课教学内容选自北京版小学英语五年级上册第三单元Can you tell me more about the Mid-Autumn Festival? Lesson 9。本单元的话题是“Festivals”，引导学生谈论中外节日日期的表达方式、传统文化等。本单元提供了厨房、美术馆、公园等场景并在这些场景中学习使用“When is the...?”

“It’s on the... . ”

“Can you tell me more about...? ”

与他人讨论中国传统节日的日期和习俗。本课位于本单元的第一课时，提供了Sara和Lingling体验做月饼这样一个情景，在做月饼时Sara和Lingling讨论中秋节的相关知识，这是一个非常生活化并能较好调动学生参与的话题。

2．学生情况分析：

本课授课对象为五年级学生。经过几年的学习，五年级的学生对于英语学习有了一定的了解与认知，学生在三年级时已经学习了本课中出现的询问日期的句型“When is ...?”“It’s ... .”，以及用序数词表达日期，如“eighth”“fifteenth”等，但是中国农历的日期在英语中的表达方式是本课中出现的新语言现象。因此，本课的学习需要教师充分利用情境，促进学生对相关语言知识的感知、理解、准确掌握直至恰当运用。

3．教学方式与教学手段说明：

（一）小组活动学习法 把全班分成10个小组，课堂各项教学活动均以小组活动为主线，结对或全班活动为辅，学生互相交流、探究，共同完成学习任务，在合作中感受学习英语的乐趣及交流的意义，也通过小组成员之间“荣辱与共”的关系而形成同步学习的环境。

（二）情境教学法 给学生不断创设各种真实的场景，促使学生说英语。

（三）课堂评价主要以鼓励性评价为主

课上恰当使用激励性评语和小组奖励“月饼”的方法，让学生渴望成功的心理得到满足，这也是激励学生积极投身英语学习的一个最简单而有效的方法。老师操作起来也比较方便。

5、前期教学状况、问题、对策等研究说明：

五年级学生的年龄在十一到十二岁左右，虽然处于高年级学段，但仍然活泼好动，喜欢直观形象思维和抽象思维相结合，对游戏、竞赛、画画还有兴趣。大部分学生对英语有着较浓厚的学习兴趣，但也有少数学生由于遇到困难，学习兴趣会随之减弱。尤其从这学期开始，对学生又提出了新的要求：培养听、说、读、写的技能。所以教师应该面向全体学生，以学生的发展为宗旨，始终把激发学生的学习兴趣放在首位，引导学生端正学习态度，掌握良好的学习方法，培养学生良好的学习习惯。

五年级部分学生还存在顽劣和懒惰倾向，上课溜号，爱搞小动作、课下作业完成不及时的坏毛病，学习效率也较差。针对这种情况我采取趣味教学的模式课上多为学生创设练习语言的环境，尽量努力吸引学生的注意力，以便更有效地激发他们的学习兴趣，而且课下我经常找机会和他们聊天、交朋友，帮助他们转变厌学思想。

教学目标与重点、难点

1、教学目标：

（1）学生能够理解对话内容并正确朗读对话。

（2）学生通过“guessing game”“role-play”“ask and answer”等活动能听懂、会说、认读中秋节the Mid-Autumn Festival、重阳节the Double Ninth Festival、元宵节the Lantern Festival、端午节the Dragon Boat Festival等专有词汇。

（3）学生能够运用句型“When is the... ?”询问中国节日的日期并用“It’s on the...in the Chinese calendar .”正确回答；能运用“What do you eat?”及“Can you tell me more about ...?”对中秋节的特色饮食及传统活动进行交流。部分学生能运用所学语言对重阳节、元宵节、端午节等节日的特色饮食及传统活动进行问答或描述。

（4）学生通过本课的学习能够了解和区别中国四个传统节日的日期、特色饮食及传统活动。

2、教学重点：

（1）理解对话内容并正确朗读对话。

（2）运用“When is the... ?”询问中国节日的日期并用“It’s on the...in the Chinese

calendar .”“Can you tell me more about ...?”谈论中国传统节日如中秋节、重阳节、元宵节及端午节的日期、特色食品及传统活动。

3、教学难点：

（1）理解短语Chinese calendar，get together，enjoy the bright full moon的意思。

（2）运用所学语言选择性地描述传统节日。

Step 1:Warm up and lead in(5 mins) 1.“Guessing game”

教师出示被挡住一部分的图片，让学生猜测是什么。（月饼）

Ss:... 【设计意图】高年级的学生处于思维发展的活跃期，上课伊始，教师采用猜词、处理前置学习单的形式用简短的信息提示学生，不仅调动了学生的学习兴趣，而且引出本课的任务：谈论中国的传统节日。

Step 2:Learn the dialogue(Listen and say)(15 mins) 1.Show and talk about the picture.(出示课文对话主题图，与学生交流) 1) T:Who are they in the picture?Where are they?

Ss:Sara, Lingling and a man.They are in a kitchen.

T: Can you guess what does the man want to do? S: He wants to make yuebing/cakes... 2) Listen and answer the question.(播放无文字动画)

T: Let’s watch the video together and answer me what does the man want to do?

S:He wants to make moon cakes. 3) Listen to the dialogue again.(播放有文字动画)

T: Do you know moon cakes?What’s it like?Do you like eating moon cakes?(出示月饼图片)

S:Yes, it’s round. I like eating moon cakes.

S: I don’t like eating moon cakes. It’s too sweet.

【设计意图】第一次播放无文字课件，目的在于引导学生认真观察动画、从听的角度获取信息。第二次播放有文字课件，目的在于引导学生在视听的同时借助文本验证信息。
