教材分析:
本课为外研版英语三年级起点第五册第八模块第一单元,本模块的主题是school。本单元主要语言功能描述学校生活及自己生活。主要运用句型:What time does your school start? / What time do you get up? 等句型来询问校园生活。
教学对象分析:
五年级学生具有一定的英语语言基础,现阶段学生需要学习如何搜索语篇中的信息学会在语篇中理解词句,并锻炼写的能力。
教学目标: (1)知识目标:能听、读、说以下句型:
a.
What time is it now? It’s
nine o’clock. b. What time does your school start? My school starts at 8 o’clock. /What time do you get up? I get up at half past six. 进行交际会话。(新单词已经在学生预习时已教授,所以本节课不作为教学目标) (2)能力目标:能够熟练掌握所学的句型:What time do you...?/ What time does ...?来进行日常生活的交际对话,能利用所学到的句型来描述自己的学校生活。
(3)情感目标:培养学生开口说英语,与他人合作学习的能力.培养学生热爱自己的学校,并树立珍惜时间的观念。
教学重点: 能熟练运用所学句型What time do you…?/ What time does…? 来询问关于日常生活的话题并能进行正确的回答。
教学难点: 1.掌握单词exercise的正确读音。2.运用所学句型描述
自己的学校生活。
教具: PPT课件、交互式电子白板、点读笔
教学流程:
Step 1. warm-up 1.
Greeting T: Hello, boys and girls. I’m rery happy today because there are lot s of guests come to our English class! Are you happy? Ss: Yes! T: (Point to the guests and say) Let’s say hello to them. Ss: Good morning !Welcome to our Englishi class. (设计意图:通过师生/学生与家长们的相互问候,拉近师生间的距离感,创设良好的学习氛围。)
2、Chant:
(Student’s book P44 Activity 1) (设计意图:通过课本活动1的Chant来营造愉悦的学习氛围,激发学生学习的兴趣)
Step 2. Lead-in 1、Review words and phrases. T:Today we’ll learn M8 unit 1 What time does your school start?First ,lets review some words and phrases.(ppt show :get up ;do exercises ;go to school; go to bed) Ss: (Look and say)
(设计意图:本环节通过ppt 出示图片请不同的学生生快速的输出短语,然后再全班齐读。这样既复习了旧知,同时还为新课的学习做好了铺垫,降低了学生学习的难度。)
2、Free talk. T:I get up at half past six every morning.What about you?
S1: I get up at
.(通过提问不同的学生,引导学生回答时间,然后出示ppt 时钟,进一步学习时间的表达。) (设计意图:这个环节主要是从学生的实际生活出发,让学生能在真实的语言环境中家口说英语)
Step 3. presentation Task1 :Review the expression of time. (1)
.T: ppt show a picture of a clock. let's see. (先露住一部分 ) T: What's this ? (Ss guess) then , teacher continue to and say: What's this? Ss: It's a clock. T: Yes, it's a clock. What time is it? Ss: It's seven o' clock./ It's half past seven. T: (teacher does action, and say: ) I get up at half past seven. (板书, 并让生跟读 ) T: What time do you get up? (板书) T:(ask some students individual, then read together. ) T: Oh, you all get up before nine o' clock. (学习新词before, 生跟读若干遍) Please look at the ppt. (设计意图:以简笔画的形式逐渐呈现钟表,让生猜一猜,激发学生的学习积极性。师借助评价学生,自然引出新词before, 让生易于理解。)

ppt 出示闹钟,显示不同的时间: show,
T: What time is it now?

o’clock. (板书并教读句子。以此方法操练整点、半点,然后引导学生总结规律。)
Task 2:key sentence’s structure 1、
T:I always go to work at seven o’clock.What time do you go to school? S1/S2/S3:I go to school at
seven
o’clock.
(提问不同的学生,操练句型,然后指着S3提问)
T:What time does
go to school?让生初步感受人称的变化带来的动词变化,并引导学生回答并板书:

What time does he /she go to school/do his /her homework? B:
He/ She goes to school/do homework at sis o’clock. S4:
I do my homework at 8oclock every evening. T:
Greet! Now who can ask :(让生学会自己提问) S5:What time does he do his homework?(面向全班提问)
Ss: He does his homework at 8 o’clock.(以此方法反复操练这一重点句型,师做示范候让生进行对话练习)
3、Pair work:ppt 出示课本P46 活动4的图片,并让学生进行自由对话练习)
(设计意图:让生在老师创设的情境中与同桌进行自由对话,既操练了本课的重点句型,又锻炼了学生的口语表达能力)
Step 4 .To learn new text. PPt show pictures of text:
T: look, who are they? Ss: They’re Amy and Lingling . T;Yes, they are our friends! Let’s listen what are they talking about!
1、Just listening
(设计意图:让生认真完整的听一遍课文,整体感知课文的大意,锻炼学生听的能力) 2、Listen and choose:
T: Please listen again the finish the exercises. Q1:What time is it now?

It’s eight o’clock.
B. It’s nine o’clock. Q2:What time does Amy’s school start? (A) A.
It’s eight o’clock.
B. It’s nine o’clock. Q3:Does Amy skip in the playground
before nine o’clock?

B. No, she doesn’t. 3、Listen and read. 让生听并跟读课文。
(设计意图:由整体听感知课文,到带着问题听并回答问题,到最后的听跟读并表演课文,层层递进,由易到难,及训练了学生的听力能力。又能帮助学生巩固所学课文知识。) Step5: Consolidation 1、Group work;Read the text in role. 2、Make a chant: 让生自己根据课文编写chant;
T:Can you make a chant like this:
I like noodles ,I like fish. I like Amy play with me.
I’ll give you 3minutes.
Ask 4—3pairs to show. ((设计意图:通过创编chant,让学生对本课所学的知识进行复习巩固,让他们能够真正的结合生活实际来思考运用英语,打到我们英语教学
的最终目的) Step6. Summary.
利用板书引导学生总结本课所学的重点知识。
Step7. Homework. 1、
Listen and read the text three times.
2、Talk with your friend or family with the sentenc: “What time do you ...?/I ...at ....”
板书设计:

1、问句:
What time is it now?(现在几点?) =What’s the time now? 答句:
It's +时间(four oclock.)
2、询问对方什么时间做某事的句型:
问句:What time do、does +主语+动词+其他? 答句:

e.g.: What time do you get up? —I get up at half past six. What time does she sleep? —She sleeps at half past nine
