一、教材分析

本节课选自教材人教新目标版《Go for it》七年级上册第七单元的第三课时，Section A Grammar focus-3c 部分，内容主要关于购物活动中怎样询问物品的价格。基于学生的实际情况，本堂课以读、说和练为主，为学生学以致用的语言表达活动提供语言基础。购物是一个与我们生活息息相关的话题，这有助于引起学生的学习兴趣，帮助学生积极开展英语日常会话。

二、教学目标

1.知识目标

（1）掌握掌握一些服装、颜色、大小的词汇以及有关数字的表达，如：T-shirt, hat, trousers, skirt, sweater, socks, shorts, jacket, shoes, yellow, orange, purple.

（2）掌握购物情景询问物品价格常使用的句型，如：

-How much is...? -It 's... -How much are they? -They are... 2.能力目标

（1）通过读和说学习购物情景询问价格常用句型提高学生英语口语交际能力；

通过真实情景任务提高学生综合运用语言的能力。

3.情感目标

引导学生热爱生活，享受购物的乐趣，教育学生不乱花钱，同时培养小组合作意识。

三、教学重难点

1.教学重点：掌握询问价格句型中问句单、复数名词与be动词的搭配使用，以及答语中代词与be动词的使用。

2.教学难点：在不同购物情景下熟练运用Grammar Focus句型来询问物品的价格。

教学过程

Step one

Lead-in and review

1.Free talk Teacher asks one question: Do you still remember the title of Unit7? Ss can say out the title easily, teacher writes down the title on the blackboard.

2.Review From the title, we know that the content of this Unit is about how to ask for price when we are shopping. So let’s look and say. First, look at the picture, what’s this in English? The number is the price of the thing. So we can ask: How much is …?

Next, let’s review colors. What color is it？

Step two

Presentation Work on Grammar focus 1.Read the five sentences, and then divide them into two parts. 2.Ss read the sentences and observe the differences, then divide them into two parts according to the different forms of the things. 3.Make a summary about how to ask for price. 1). ---How much + is+单数物品？

---It’s +价格. 2).---How much +are+复数物品？

---They’re+价格. How much +is\are+物品？

=What’s the price of+物品？

4.Pay attention to the determiners.

Work on 3a

Make sentences in the chart with the words in the three boxes. 1.Pay attention to the two questions, especially the be verbs.

2.Look at the determiners and color words as well as words about things , divide the things into two parts, one is in the singular form, the other is in the plural form.

3.Ask Ss to write as many sentences as possible on the draft.

4.Invite two Ss to show us their sentences, one gives us the sentences about asking the price of the singular form of the things, the other shows us the sentences about asking the price of the plurar form of the things.

5.Make a compliment on their answers.

Work on 3b

Look at the pictures and write the questions and answers. 1.Look at the things and prices in the picture and show an example about how to ask the price 2.Ss finish the task by themselves. 3.Invite four Ss to show their answers and make compliments. 4.Check the answers for the fifth and sixth sentences. 5.Read the six short conversations. Group 1 ask and group 2 answer the former three sentences and then exchange to read the rest sentences. Work on 3c

Student A, look at the pictures in 3b for a minute and then close your book. Student B, ask questions. Invite two pairs to show on the stage and then give them compliments. Step three

Best seller 1.Ss work in groups and write the ad to sell their clothes. 2.Compare which group is the best seller. 3.Show an example of the add. In this part, lead Ss to know we should buy the right things, not the expensive ones and save money, don’t waste money.
