Unit3 My birthday Lesson 1 Chen Xiaohua 教学目标：帮助学生学习look and learn 中的序数词及日期的表达。

通过listen and say 的情景对话，帮助学生掌握本单元的生词及核心句型。

教学重难点：如何询问对方的生日及如何回答。

教学步骤：

Step1: Greet the students Stept2: This class, let’s go into unit3 together, the topic is my birthday. We learned twelve months last year.

Let one student say the twelve months. Let students turn to page15, 学习

look and learn中的序数词。

Step3: 学习句型

When’s your birthday? It’s on 3rd February. Let students say out their birthdays. Work in pairs. Teacher asks and students answer. Step4: 学习listen and say Let students listen and say, answer the questions. Today is Peter’s birthday. He wants to have a birthday party. 1.

What kind of party does he want to have? Check the answers. Let students read and translate the conversation. Step5: Listen and repeat. Step6: Homework Listen to and read pages 14 and 15, and preview pages 16, 17 and 19.
