Step 1：Warm up 1.Greetings: Hello、Hi、Good morning . How are you？

2. Sing a song:《Twinkle, twinkle, little star 》. Step2：Lead in 1. Play a game: 快速闪现（复习单词:sun, moon, star, morning, evening, night …）让学生看图说单词，比比谁的反应快？

2. Chant: Sun, sun, big and red.

High in the sky, high in the sky.

Moon, moon, big and yellow. Bright in the sky, bright in the sky. Star, star, small and nice.

Twinkle in the sky, twinkle in the sky. Step 3：Presentation 1. 通过猜谜的形式引出故事的主角：Henry T: It’s an animal. It’s lovely. It’s our best friend. It goes “Woof, Woof” .

Is it a dog or a cat? S: It’s a dog.

T: Yes, it’s a dog. His name is Henry.It likes playing with his new friend.

2. Let’s listen to the tape. (教师通过简单描述让学生了解故事大意，带着问题去听录音，培养学生探究问题的能力。) 3. Ask and answer. (请学生根据图片和所听内容回答问题，检测学生是否理解课文。) (1)What does Henry do on a beautiful sunny day? (2)What does he see? （教师在每张图旁边写一些关键词，请学生复述故事。）

(学生戴上小狗头饰，几人一组表演故事，培养学生的综合语言运用能力) Step 4：Wrap up 教师对学生的表演进行点评，全班一起评出表演最好的两组，并给予奖励。
