Step 1 :

Warm-up.

(1)、Greeting.

(2)、Review Review phone，walk，talk ,listen ，cook with cards.

（3）、Make a chant with the words.

Step 2 : New concepts

(1)、 Watch the DVD of part 1 and answer: What did The blue bird and orange bird do yesterday?

(2)、Follow the DVD.

(3)、Read part 1 together.

(4)、Read part 2 and find the past forms of these words: phone，walk，talk ,listen ，cook.

(5)、Ask

volunteers

of these words: phone，walk，talk ,listen ，cook.

phone---phoned walk--- walked talk---talked listen---listened cook--- cooked

(6)、Ask volunteers to read the past forms of these words and the other follow.

(7)、Ask students to practice to read the words.

(8)、Ask volunteers to report. (9)、Watch the DVD of part 2 and answer: What did Grandma and Grandpa do yesterday?

(10)、Follow the DVD.

(11)、Practise to read the text.

(12)、Ask volunteers to report with their ways. (13)、Make a chant with the words：phoned、walked、talked、listened、cooked.
