一、教材的地位、作用及前后联系

本课内容是外研社（一年级起点）五年级下册的Module 3 Unit 2。本课是在三年级上册学习“Can I/you……?”运用can表达获得允许的基础上，继续学习并巩固运用can表达在公共场所允许做和不允许做的事情。

二、学情分析

五年级学生思维活跃，经过四年级的过渡，对英语学习有了一定的学习基础，能够积极参与课堂中的每个活动，初步形成与人合作的习惯。尤其是本课内容，学生的语言已有一定的积累，教师只需要在教学中激发学生的学习兴趣，并把这种兴趣转化为稳定的学习动机，树立自信心，使每位学生能够在课堂上大胆地说英语、用英语，提高综合语言运用能力。本课内容是外研社（一年级起点）五年级上册的Module 6 Unit 1。本课是在三年级上册学习“I can……”“What can you see？”运用can表达能力的基础上，继续学习并巩固运用can描述某人是否具备某种能力及其水平程度。

三、教学目标

认知能力培养目标：

1.在语境中学习、理解并运用语词：borrow。

2.在语境中继续学习、巩固目标语句：You can_______. You can’t________.表达在公共场所允许做和不允许做的事情。

3. 运用比较法，学生理解library的复数形式是libraries. 4. 学生运用自己喜欢的表达方式，如唱歌、说chant、演剧等形式来表达在不同的公共场合我们要遵守的规矩。

实践能力培养目标：

在语境中继续学习、巩固目标语句：You can_______. You can’t________.表达在公共场所允许做和不允许做的事情。

情感态度价值观目标：

结合本课文本内容的学习，引导学生明确在不同的公共场合要遵守不同的规矩，做一个遵规守纪的好少年。

教学难点：在不同的公共场合中，能清楚的判断和选择 You can_______. You can’t________.表达规矩。

五、教学设计

Ⅰ. Preparation 1.T: Look, it’s a new chant. Can you read? Let’s try. “Can I have a drink, please? Yes. Here you are. Can I watch TV, please? Yes, you can. Can I have an ice cream? No, you can’t. But you can have a delicious cake.”

T: You’re ill. You’ve got a fever. Read it weakly. Now you’re well. Read it happily. 2.T: Look, the baby is sleeping. Can you tell me what can you do? What can’t you do? Can you ______? T: Yes, you should be quiet. Now, follow me. Let’s go to another quiet place. It’s very big. There are many books there. Can you guess what’s the place? T: Yes, today we’ll go to the library, let’s find what can you do or what can’t you do there. Ⅱ.Presentation 1. T: Look, who are they? Yes, they’re Daming and Little Six. They show us two libraries. Watch Q1, T: What can you do in this library? Learn to say “borrow”.
