The analysis of the teaching material The teaching material is Activity 2 of the Module6 Unit1 .The topic of this lesson is sports.In Activity2 of Unit1,Lingling can jump high and catch the ball well so that she becomes a good goalkeeper.Students are familiar with the sports and interested in sports.There’re many new words in this Activity. The analysis of the learning situation The students are from grade 5 in primary school.They learned the sentence patterns”Can you...?Yes,I can./No,I can’t.”It’s easy for them to learn the sentence pattern”...can...”But it’s difficult for the students to learn to read and get to know the new words.And it’s a little difficult for the students to imitate the dialogue in Activity 2.
