Module 8 Unit 2 I made a kite. Teaching targets: 1. 2. New words and drills. Talking with the future tense and the past tense.

Knowledge target: 1.student can understand,read , and write the words drew,cut, put, painted and could . 2. Students can read,speak and understand the words strings , sticks , a piece of and scissors. 3. Students can use past tense to express how they made a thing.

Ability target : Students can express the things they need for making a thing . Students can express how they made a thing step by step .

Important points: 1. 2. Students can use the new words fluently. Students can use the past tense fluently.

Difficult points : 1.The word pronunciation :drew , cut, made 2.The past tense of the verb.

Teaching courses: 1. Warming up : Good morning ,students! Let’s sing a song together .(Fly fly in the sky) 2. Presentation: What will you do tomorrow? I’ ll make a kite.

3. New lesson : Make a kite ? look at me! Yesterday I made a kite. What are the materials ? (Students analysis ) Teach the new words and dills :drew, cut , piece , paint , stick , tied , string .(The word practices) How to make a kite ? Listen to the tape find the answer. The first time , just listen . The second time ,tell me how many steps are there ? Then ,listen and imitate the text. Read the text by themselves. At last, student retell how to make the kite .(groups work ) 4. Consolidation: Let’s chant together.
