Lesson 7 Months of the Year 教学目标：

（一）

知识目标：能够听、说、读、写表示十二个月份的单词，并能够运用What’s your favourite month?My favourite month is ＿＿＿. 进行对话练习。

（二）能力目标：通过12个月份单词的学习，学会询问他人的生日月份，并能回答自己的生日月份。

情感目标：根据小学生的特点，引导他们在宽松和谐的气氛中学习英语，调动他们学习的积极性、主动性，发挥创造性。

教学过程：

Step1、Greeting: Free talk. A: Hello! My name is _____. What’s your name?

B: My name is _____. How are you?

A: Fine, thanks. And you? B: Very well,thank you. A: Nice to meet you! B: Nice to meet you, too. Step2、New concepts 1. Learning:学习新单词，多媒体出示幻灯片。

The teacher take out word cards show them to class. Ask one student to choose one card. Then tell others this month how to say. Lead all students to read. 2. Observe the teacher post these cards on the blackboard. Ask students observe these words. Talk about “what’s” feature . ①. It’s big letter of begin.

3、教学句子：What’s your favourite month?Whose birthday is in July?My birthday is in July. 教师拿着日历，走到一个学生面前，说：

T：My favourite month is January.What’s your favourite month? S1:My favourite month is March. 教师继续问另一个学生：

T:What’s your favourite month? S2:My favourite month is April. 教师尽可能多地询问学生，然后让学生相互提问并回答。

Step3、Pratice 1、单词练习。

领学生说单词，学生会说后，让学生拿出自己的小卡片以小组为单位进行问答练习。教师将十二个月份的图片贴在黑板上，找每个小组的同学进行对话练习。

2、播放录音，让学生跟读十二个月份的名称。

3、让小组编对话，然后上台表演。

请几组到前台表演，演得好的给予掌声鼓励。教师应充分鼓励学生上台表演对话，并及时给予鼓励。

Step4、Consolidation and extension 1、和小伙伴用所学的单词和句型编写一组小对话。

2、做同步练习。
