Step Ⅰ Lead-in 1.

Ask the students to look at this archaeological drawing of a section showing buildings at different times and work out the order in which they were built. 2.

Show some pictures to the students and ask them to describe them. Step II Reading

Ask the students to turn to page 43 and look at the pictures and think what these

early people are doing? Then read the passage and find out what the life was like.
