After the song ,ask pupils talk about the following questions: “Did you have a bad day or a lucky day yesterday? What happened?”

let Ps read a story about Daxiong’s day, then, teach the following new phrases: woke up late, missed the bus, forgot my homework, lost my keys. 3.

Play a guessing game----what happened to Daxiong by doing the puzzles. 4.

Brain storm----let pupils make some new phrases according to the new ones, eg. missed the bus----missed the trained/plane/subway; lost my keys/money/books/pens, etc. 5.

Continue reading the story , teach other new phrases : won the game, got a gift, had fun with friends, ate some cotton candy. 6.
