教学目标：

1、知识目标.学生能听懂、会说、认读并书写下列词汇：people, many, child, women, men学生能认读、理解并运用下列基本句型结构：

They are on their way to ____ . There are many ____ . 学生能够理解并掌握下列单词的单复数形式：child/children, man/men, woman/women 2、能力目标：能够正确运用四会单词：men, women, children, people, many 3、情感目标：培养学生较好的文化意识与英语语感。小组合作，互相帮助。

教学重点：

教学准备：第7课相关课件和磁带。 教学过程：

Greeting Warm—up What do you know about Beijing? T：How’s the weather today? Today is warm. Beijing is warm,too. What do you know about Beijing? Let the students talk about Beijing. (设计意图：由这一环节的操练北京概况，自然过度到课本主人公到达北京，从而复习了以前所学的北京知识，为本课的学习打下了基础。) Presentation Let the students know more about Beijing, and show them some pictures about Beijing. （设计意图：图片的插入，激发了学生的学习兴趣，活跃课堂气氛。）

T: Do you like Beijing? Danny and Jenny like Beijing, too. They go on a trip to Beijing and they arrive in Beijing. They are excited, but they have to go to the hotel first. Now they are on their way to the hotel. Teach the sentence“

They are on the way to…”

T: What do they see on the way to the hotel? Let’s watch and see. The teacher plays the flash of Part 1. Use the pictures to teach the new vocabulary: child/children,

woman/women, man/men, people. Then practice the sentences“There are many___.”“What is/are the___doing?”

(设计意图：形象直观的用图片出示，有助于学生直接理解所学的英语单词。) T：Jenny, Danny and Li Ming can see many people in the park. Let’s answer some questions about Danny, Jenny and Li Ming. Read Part1 and answer the questions. （设计意图：处理文本内容，使学生加深课文的理解。）

Practice

T：Now let’s take some exercise. Let’s choose and say. I have some pictures, you can choose one picture, and talk about “What is/are the ___doing?”

Let the students say the sentence“The___ is/are doing sth.”

Production

1、T：This is a big park. There are many people here. You can talk about the people with your partners.

Then let the students to talk in groups.
