Unit 3 At the zoo 第一课时

教学目标：

1、能够听、说、认读单词fat, thin, tall和short，并能在实际生活中正确运用；

2、能够听懂形容词的意思，并能根据指令性语言做出正确反应；

3、通过学习生词和游戏互动，提高主动合作的意识；

4、激发热爱自然、热爱生活的积极情感，培养爱护动物的良好品质。

教学重点：掌握单词fat, thin, tall和short.

教学难点：

1、听懂Let's do部分的指令性语言，并根据指令做出相应的动作；

2、正确使用形容词来描述物品。

教学准备：

2、单词卡片

3、奖励贴纸

教学过程：

Step 1. Warming up

1、Greet the students and watch a video “Try everything”. 设计意图：通过疯狂动物城的主题曲活跃课堂气氛，调动学生积极性，为本课的教学创造积极的条件。

Step 2. Leading in 1、Let’s guess

T: Listen carefully! The first animal, it has a long nose, big ears and it is so big. Do you know what animal it is?

Ss: It’s...

T: The second animal, it’s very strong, and they eat other animals. What is it?

Ss: It’s ...

Show the animals’ pictures after students guess what they are.（并给予及时表扬）

设计意图：通过展示之前学过的动物图片，来复习旧知识。同时可以让同学们拉近对本课知识的熟悉感。提高学生学习本课知识的兴趣。(so, I decide to take you guys to go to the zoo)

Step 3. Presentation

（此处插入动物园小贴士，让同学们文明观园）

1、展示动物园场景（At the zoo）

T: Look, my friend is coming, what’s this?

Ss: It’s giraffe!（带读长颈鹿）

T: Look at the giraffe, it has a long neck and long legs.

（回顾上个单元学过tall）does the giraffe tall?

Ss:...

（此处板书tall，集体拼写，老师带读,分组读，个人读；带入句型it is tall; she is tall; he is tall.此时贴入头像，区分he, she,it）

用chant来操练：tall, tall, tall, he is tall;

Tall, tall, tall, she is tall;

Tall, tall, tall, it is tall.

2、出示一张兔子图片

T: wow, what’s this?

Ss: it’s a rabbit.

T: Look at the rabbit, is it tall?

Ss: No!

T: is it big?

Ss: No!

T: is it short?

Ss: Yes!

（此处板书short，集体拼写，老师带读，分组读，此处进行传球游戏，比一比哪组先传完）

用chant来操练：short, short, short, she is short;

Short, short, short, he is short;

Short, short, short, it is short!

3、出示一张胖瘦猴子照片

T: another friend is coming. What is it?

Ss: two monkeys.

T: the monkey is thin, just like me!

（此处板书thin, 集体拼写，

老师带读，分组读。此处进行拍词游戏）

用chant来操练：thin, thin, thin, i am thin;

Thin, thin, thin, you are thin;

Thin, thin, thin, it is thin.

4、圈出另一只胖猴子

T: look at this monkey, it is fat!

（此处板书fat,集体拼写，老师带读，分组读）

用chant来操练：同上。

（呈现人与自然是一家，我们应该爱动物、爱自然）

5、打开课本，跟着音频读单词。此时带读书本chant内容，师生一起做动

作。（两遍，分小组表演）

Step 4. Practice

1、look and match

出示图片，让学生与单词连线

2、I say, you act

请一名同学上讲台，老师说单词，学生表演，其他同学猜单词。

3、呈现明星照片

Step 5. Consolidation

1、介绍自己的玩具（Look at this... It is...）

2、扮演动物，介绍自己（look at me, i am...）

Step 6. Homework

1、Use these new words to describe your friends or your family.

2、Copy these new words three times

3、Do a survey
