课题：译林版小学英语六年级上册 Unit4 Then and now

教材简析：译林版《英语》（六年级上册）Unit4 Then and now的Story time板块通过对比Mike一家人过去和现在的学习、工作和生活等方面，让学生感受科技如何改变生活。全文一般过去时和一般现在时同时出现，在对比中辨析两种时态，试图让学生巩固熟练运用。

目标预设：

（一）认知目标：

1.能听懂、会读、会说日常交际用语…ago, he/ she could/couldn’t…. Now he/ she can/can’t…等。

2.能听懂、会说、会读、会写词汇then and now, use, telephone, mobile phone, anywhere, radio, make friends, all over the world, do shopping；能听懂、会说、会读词汇ago, office, newspaper, news, watch, e-book。

（二）技能目标：

1.理解Storytime的内容，理清文本脉络。

2.能用自己的话复述课文。

3. 能用自己的话表达更多“过去与现在”的不同。

（三）情感目标：

1.感受“世界变化飞快，生活变得更好。”

2. 感受个人的成长和社会的进步过程中的得与失，训练辩证思维。

重点难点：重点：

难点：

教师说动词原形，学生说动词过去式，反之如是。

2. Read the Storytime in groups. If you have questions, you can ask the teacher or the partner for help. 3. Check the answer on P38, Write and say. 在校对的过程中，请四位学生上讲台，根据回答完成板书。

（1）Compare Mike’s “then and now”

Now Mike is 12 years old, the same as you. Six years ago, how old was he? What could he do then? What couldn’t he do? Now he can do many things. Guess, what can he do now? According to the first given letter. (2)

Compare Mr Brown’s “then and now”

Twenty years ago, Mr Brown wrote letters to friends and he used the telephone at home and in the office. Now he writes emails. He has a mobile phone. He can call people anywhere. What does “anywhere”

mean? Choose the right answer. Can you tell the difference between telephone and mobile phone?

Compare Grandpa’s “then and now”

Check the answer. 然后小组讨论：

Do you still use radios now? Why do we use the newspaper? What can we do on the Internet? What’s the difference between e-books and books? (4)

Conclude: No matter then or now, whichever is good or bad, it depends on you. We must remember two words, “selective”, and “reasonable”. Step 5 Homework 1.Try to recite Storytime. 2. Bring two photos (during your kindergarten years and in the present), think of the changes between two photos (P40) and write it down. 3. Talk to your friends about more changes in our life and try to write them down.
